who is the coach over at Thompson High? He can score alot of points in 18 seconds...he might be worth a shot

That was sheer ineptitude on Auburn's part...frick, maybe he is the guy then if can turn Auburn ineptitude into titles.

With the likes of Bill Clark being mentioned, why haven't we explored someone like Luke Fickle from Cincy or Tom Allen from Indiana. At least they have shown success within a larger program.

Fickell ain't leaving the midwest. Plus I don't believe he's ever coached outside of Ohio, which is the same thing everyone criticized Clark for.
Allen has like a billion dollar buyout.

Honestly “hasn’t recruited the southeast” can’t be a dealbreaker now. We will be lucky to get any good coach. Fickle is smart enough not to come here though, I’d imagine

Something close to a third of the roster is from SEC states. He's not coming but he could recruit in the south.

Ficknell has actually recruited the South. I mentioned that before when I said that he was probably as better option than Campbell from a fit perspective.

We need to hold a press conference and announce that we are pausing this search. We have reevaluated who we are as a program, and we've talked to some people that we really think could lead our program successfully into the future, And the reality of the situation is that we've had to humble ourselves. We plan on reaching back out to a couple of folks to really try to make something work
