If I'm not mistaken, dead periods just mean no face to face communication.
Not having their best player Taliah Scott play since November because of an injury doesn't help. I assume Coach Harris will get another year. Pairing Scott with the Chinese player Deng who arrived in mid January could get them back to being a tournament team. Still miles to go before being anywhere close to the top of the SEC.
Especially if we get the number 1 seed overall. We'll play our first two games there.
I'd say 7 regular season wins is a pretty reasonable expectation this year. 9 wouldn't completely surprise me but we'd need every bad break from the past year to go our way.

Yeldon is probably the only recruit I actively wished the worst for.

We're tired of everything involving Freeze being overpromise and under deliver. A #6 class is great but not after reasonably expecting better. Rebuilding was to be expected when Freeze took over; having worse record against similar competition year two was not.

Falling out of the top 5 in recruiting absolutely should put Freeze on the hotseat, but it seems some will overlook the lack of results on and off field and make additional excuses.

And look the other way when they see how sheepish the play calling gets when the game gets close.

They’ve lost a decent amount of recruits over the past month or so. They can probably focus more NIL money towards specific players.

The SEC holding off on adopting 105 is probably for the best. It’s going to be an absolute mess trimming rosters and walk-on numbers down to 105. It will eventually be good for taking long term projects like Dowland but it will be horrible for walk-on level players who want to go to a power school.

Both will be back. Towns was an elite kicker who was supposed to redshirt this year. I fully expect he will get back on the right track.

Sounds like our DC hadn't previously been putting him in positions to succeed. He made plays today.
If Auburn's major boosters make business decisions like they do in backing Hugh Freeze they won't be rich long. Especially if Kamala wins

At least Freeze beat Saban and Bama those two times nearly a decade ago and he can recruit players.

He's essentially saying Freeze is lying in the nicest way possible. The Thorne era can't end soon enough. Freeze picking and then doubling down on Thorne will likely end up being the 2nd largest mistake Hugh has made in his career.
Walker is probably the most mobile QB on the roster currently. The problem is the vast majority of his reps have been running scout team so he's not ready to run Hugh's system. Unless he starts getting more reps in Hugh's system he won't be a potential option until next year at the earliest.
When talking about workplace politics it's anything related to getting or keeping a position of power. Freeze has done things that some people have viewed as them not deserving the position beyond purely Xs and Os.
