Broome sucked today,

Nah made the right decisions out of the double team. Rebounded very well. Played decent defense. Didn’t shoot faders.

The 3 poke aways kinda sucked but maybe Alabama state is good at that kind of stuff. If he doesn’t start shooting FTs better the pokes and rakes on attempted steals will increase.

Yeah he was fine. Alabama State wasn’t gonna let him play one on one or be comfortable with the ball at all and have a prayer of winning and he adjusted nicely

Hope CMo is ok. We need a big bodied 3 to complement CBM. There’s some 6’6” big bodied 3s in this tournament they can handle the ball and abuse CBM

We have been in Zombie mode since March 1st against Kentucky. I think we get our groove back on Saturday, just in time to hit Atlanta. We beat Creighton by 17.

I was surprised also at the lack of fan support today in the arena. Hopefully Saturday is better. Saving your money for Atlanta is dumb. You gotta get to Atlanta first.

He definitely didn’t look good when he returned.

Hopefully ice, elevation and advil do the trick.

That makes it 17 Q1 wins.

And a bonus we are 1 win away from 30 wins.

My take which means shite: this team has lost focus. Details matter, they are turning the ball over un-forced. Missing free throws. Not getting back on defense. Rebounds seem to be situational.

It’s been a theme. Creighton will make/break us of these bad habits.

None of that matters if we don’t get past Saturday.

Everyone pulls against the higher seeds. They want to witness an upset.

That is what BP said. Not playing within the system and valuing the o and d possessions. Think some peeps lost that dawg and need to get it back

Was your arse there? Not everyone has unlimited disposable income or the ability to take off work multiple weeks in a row to attend basketball games.

For whatever it’s worth, Dylan Cardwell and Steven Pearl were both pissed as hell in their post game interviews and sounds like they got on some folks asses. Unfortunate that is needed at the point of the season when almost the entire roster is done with their basketball careers if they lose.

Yeah, I remember before they got to #1 and the next 4 or 5 weeks after, the defense was absolutely relentless. Everyone was incredibly active and hustling. The offense was being run with a sense of urgency and everything was crisp.

We saw a glimpse of what was to come in the first half of the Florida game, but hey, it was Florida...they are really good and that game seems to be when they really turned it on and got into their groove. But since the regular season conference championship was clinched, they have been lackadaisical on offense and everyone looks like they're wearing cinder block shoes on defense.

Gotta pick it up and close this season out cutting nets down.

We have everyone right where we want them. The switch gets flipped Saturday.

My prediction for the sweet little Creighton Blue Jays?
