There’s no “have to” about it. You choose to. I have quit for periods of times, 6 months being the longest. Like I said though, you choose to do it. If you feel better doing it & your quality of life is better, then why not? It doesn’t harm anybody else. It doesn’t bother anybody else. So why does it bother people that I do it?

Im pretty free down here bro and as far as shitshows go. I have them. LOL

You have a thought out view and opinion on this and that it should be governed and not left up to the person.

I use it. I have most of my adult life. Not everday and not ever week but at times. I just dont feel like people can handle it. It will just degrade society more than it already is.

What will you do when the mobs don’t agree with something you do and have it governed and out of your control?

I am not sure what you are asking here

The schools and the NCAA? Do we really think they care about anything other than money? If you do, enjoy your happy naive existence. I’m almost jealous.

No, I get it. I just could not imagine the schools saying that they are fine with students and student athletes just burning. I cant even imagine how fast that will get out of control

The flowery prose that these institutions say about themselves would lend credence to what you are saying. Betterment of students and athletes as they grow into adults.

The actions of these institutions by and large tell you that they are about how much money they can generate.

I tend to judge by actions, not words.

I don’t believe in weed as a pain reliever. I think ibuprofen is better.

Does it have medicinal uses, sure, but not pain reliever.

It could be thought of as a pain coping mechanism. Might make you not give a crap about it for a while, but it will still be there.

I guess you have a weird definition of relief. Not giving a crap about pain is relief.

My folks were as antimarijuana as boomers could be. My dad was totally bought in on all the reefer madness propaganda.

As my mom's battle with terminal cancer progressed, opioids wrecked her. She's a tough lady, but watching her recover from major surgeries with just Tylenol was rough. We finally convinced them to look into med-marijuana and it changed everything for the better. It absolutely gave pain relief and my parents were absolutely thankful that they moved past their beliefs that were drilled into them.

Man what a dividing topic on what should be accepted by anyone.

Alcohol bad for you
Weed bad for you
Cigarettes bad for you
Unhealthy eating bad for you

And so on…

The division on this to justify desires of the flesh to get drunk high or whatever is weird. At least a smoker will say this shite ain’t good for you.

You’d think that someone said fetus=baby or something.

Last year in Berkeley there were lots of orange and blue fans in lines at the dispensaries. After the crowd headed to the game we entered and the employees were laughing about the Auburn fans selling them out of gummies. Young and old.

When in Rome.

I can’t partake these days because gotta hold down a job and all that. Commercial motor vehicle so I’m beholden to all that entails.

Bought some very good gummies in the Keys. Man those things make me sleep like a rock.

But if I do one during the day, before I am tired, they get me high AF. They are legit

Not really. Im a binge drinker, so once I start, i dont like to stop until i have a solid buzz or am drunk; However, once i get drunk, i dont stay drunk, even if I am still pounding back the drinks. Sucks.

I do like Sailor Jerry when i do drink tho

I think we would have a blast hanging out

My issue with weed is that they are putting so many more additives to it that its making it highly addictive. Been smoking since I was a teenager and I can tell when I smoke high grad thc, swag, mids, indoor, outdoor, straight ghetto dirt. Its just not the same flower anymore.

Ive even heard there are growers that are applying a thc chemical spray to the flower to make it more potent.

As far as gummies go, they make me happy but damn they make me groggy as a mofo the next morning. Me and my buddy eat about 300 mg and go golfing. Fun times

There are just too many people who cant control themselves with more substances.

I’d rather those people veg out on weed rather than be raging alcoholics.

I do not participate but think it’s crazy people think weed is so horrible. Lot of people I knew at Auburn who smoked a ton are doing really well now

I dont think anyone is saying its horrible. Its not. Id just be more worried that its another substance to give people to make them act stupid.

Id be interested in seeing stats on arrests, DUI's, etc from places that legalized it.
