is the LSU fans all upset with their style of offense and openly mocking it as essentially old-man football.

Where are the jokes about Gus being gimmicky and high school now?

It was comical watching Bama run some hurry up in the Ole Miss game.

It's crazy how the narrative has changed from even two years ago, and not just Gus but up-tempo in general. We are seeing variants in offenses in every P5 conference and at every level of college play. It's also fun to watch the defenses evolve because of it - the days of slow lumbering defensive players and complex packages is coming to an end.

I like this thread

Why do the auburn fans stay till the end of a 34 point blowout?

and they call themselves fans

My favorite part was watching how fast they turned on Chavis and Les. A lot of them claiming they want them fired after just one game.

I think the best part is still yet to come.

A 5-6 win season will be fun later

Yea I had to let out a in that one. The tiger rant has been glorious. So much good reading material, so little time it seems.

I loved all the 'Chief knows how to shut down the HUNH' posts, even from other fanbases!

To be fair, LSU has been at the forefront of shutting it down each of the past few years. They just lack the horses to pull the wagon this year.

I still agree he is one of the best options amongst DCs. His problem this year is he has a garbage defense. Absolutely no DL, young DBs and average LBs + Welter/Holland

I'll throw it out there tht he is better against tradition spreads HUNH not Gus' pound down your throat HUNH

Like everything else, it comes back to talent. He may be a great defensive mind and have an idea how to slow these offenses, but it gets a lot tougher with an inexperienced team.
