I don't agree with everything you say but it is obviously plausible so I won't waste anymore time on the subject. Thank you for your time and effort in the discussion and may your cat find itself in a precarious position having to decide to go right or left as the big truck approaches.

You can blame Jonesy for that. One of the first things I learned from following him online is nothing is a given in recruiting or coaching searches til Universities make confirmation statements or pressers.

You did well then, friend

lol. I don't think this discussion is a waste at all. There is nothing wrong with 2 sound minded men having a disagreement and explaining their differring opinions with civility as we did. I enjoyed it actually.

Hopefully we get the Guschamp and pull in Marlon Davidson. If we can't snag the brother of a player who is top 5 on rivals

Vandy just fired their defensive coordinator. Not that we would hire him, but that opens up another position and I wouldn't be surprised if Clark and Odom's names are mentioned for it.

Oh I think the discussion was good, I just meant adding anymore was going to be a waste of time because I feel for the most part everything has been covered. At least for me it has unless some new info comes forth. I was just playing around with the cat part.

I read somewhere that Clark may be in play at Samford as HC...

Just means you should start looking for someone besides Muschamp.

Is DJ Durkin assumed to be staying at Florida as their DC under McElwain?

Clark is up for Samford. But he might want to try his hand in the SEC. Samford is a really good job, though.

Does he seem pretty young to be a DC to anyone else? Personally, I'd like to see him with a few more years as a position coach under a guy like Muschamp before going after him as a DC. I know it's USF vs Auburn, but still.

This works out well. He can go cut his teeth as a DC there for 2-3 years and after Muschamp leaves AU, T-Rob can step in.

From Muschamp and T-Rob and company to potentially none of them. Thats shitty.
