We will have to listen to him next week, but CBS doesn't do any of the playoff/bowl games, correct?

He’s got to be told to ham it up regarding Bama from CBS higher ups. I think of commentators like carnival barkers trying to keep people watching, and people love to watch Bama rise and they love to watch Bama fall, and they want to hear about it.

For anyone who stuck around for the post game commentary Danielson had a key takeaway:
Bama imploded on the two bad snaps. No takeaways for how AU is playing like the best team in the nation. Only takeaway is Bama beating themselves. I was previously one of the few who liked Danielson.
ETA: Ohh and lets not forget Bama had Mr. Clutch(complete with graphic), also known as Cam 2.0 at QB

He dismissed the penalty on Evans ripping Stidhams helmet off. Something like "didn't see anything there."

Another ridiculous one - in the first half, Hurts scrambled for about 3 yards when it could have been a loss, nothing spectacular. Gary says something along the lines of 'Their guys are just better than your guys.' Let's not forget it was 7-0 and they only had like 20 yards of offense at this time.

I disagree. Just listen to him do a game that bama is not even playing in. You will be shite faced drunk, by the half, if you take a shot every time he mentions bama or saban. For whatever reason, he slobbers all over them.

My late wife, God bless her Bama loving soul, hated Vern and Gary. She thought they were bias against Alabama. I never understood how she got that impression.

I’ve always hated that jack arse Danielson. Vern was just Vern, no problem with him. It’s only Danielson that mucks up the Tide. Comparing Hurts to Cam - morons that say he knows his stuff. He knows nothing. He is weak in many aspects and just makes shite up.

This is what pisses me off too - Verne and now Nessler, just go with what he says as if it was the gospel. Like the NCM dropped pass play. Gary was border line orgasmic over the Bama player, and then the replay clearly shows NCM just flat out dropped it and the Bammer was beat. Nessler should have corrected him and said 'well he actually dropped it' rather than coddling Gary's sensitive psyche.
