Are we just supposed to import a new QB from another fricking team mid-season or something? What the hell are they supposed to do?

And the trick is 5 years old.

his playcalling and decision making will not let this team win.

This started last year. Book mark this: Malzahn will be fired at the end of next season. It's not going to get any better with next year's schedule. The man is lost. The only thing that I see salvaging it for Malzahn is if by some miracle he goes out and finds another Juco qb and Muschamp has a shut down defense next year. I in no way see them winning 9 games next year unless a miracle from God happens. Jay Jacobs will have to go first. No way he gets to hire another football coach. Jacobs will retire.

Let them melt. That game was melt worthy.
I'll be back tomorrow when the melt is somewhat calmed down.

Good. You make sure and save it.
My advise: Find another hobby or start drinking heavily.

Ole miss and today, Gus looks like an amateur.

I blame the qb situation more than Gus.
JJ is way too inconsistent. He makes some of those easy passes he missed and we win by double digits.
White was just totally inept today for whatever reason.
Maybe blame Gus for not having a competent qb on the roster.

I'd imagine his injury is worse than people realize. Knee injuries can be wonky. Couple that with he never had time to get in a groove and playcalling was severely lacking. Also, no idea how much practice he actually got

First, White was pretty competent in every outing. If he was getting this D we'd probably have 3 more wins right now.
Second, when something is going well, like the passing game on a drive or the running game in general, why the hell are we subbing in another QB in the red zone or going away from the run to pass over and over and over?
Seriously, why are we doing shite that hasn't worked all years?
JJ is not a good QB, but I think we all know at this point that the only way he's capable of leading the O is to let him get comfortable. Our intermittent use of JJ has been an unmitigated disaster all year, and it continued today. Add in that SW was clearly hobbled, and add in the different and bizarre set of plays each QB got, and you get rather unsurprising (terrible) results.

Agreed.

Exactly.

Honestly in that series where he went down, when the pocket collapsed I was surprised he could make the moves he did to buy himself a couple extra seconds. Wasn't enough obviously, but he's certainly got a much more natural evasive instinct.

And, even with a wonky knee, he's obviously not scared to death in the pocket.

Gus be fricked next year because I think Muschamp is going to get some decent HC offers and bolt.
