I've been SCREAMING this. the 700k per year we paid assistants that have little to no experience or say in our gameplans is robbery.

4 or more losses for six straight seasons. Auburn football is just a continuous loop for me these days. I wouldn't miss him.

Steele didn’t help much yesterday,

He seems to only get praise but when he has no answer to an offense that runs the same thing over and over, good grief. I think some our coaches went to sleep in this game, even though the players seemed ready to play.

I would hang this loss on everybody so I suppose Gus should get the blame. The defense went to shite all but one half against Uga

I was blown away by how bad Minnesota was blowing the line off the ball on offense and defense. At first it seemed like the guys wanted to be there and then after the miffed punt everything changed.

The UGA game did it for me honestly. I am beyond losing to Georgia at home. There is no excuse for that.

They are just following their HC lead. When things get tough, he can’t adjust and neither do his players.

I would hope that if things aren't going well next year that the fire him during the year and not wait. That way we are on the coaching hunt earlier than others. I am so sick of the PTB waste AU's money. From the contract extension to giving the president a going away gift of millions. Until those making the decisions correct their errors and stop the stupid wasting of money they will not get another dime of my money either for the academics nor athletics. They are not fiscally responsible, period.

Auburn has paid some big time money to some mediocre coaches over the years. Tubs, Chizik, and Gus. I don’t really mind them paying Chizik though. NC was worth it.

Don’t forget Bowden. He “resigned” and we paid out the balance of his contract just 21 years ago, and we were ridiculed for that too.

It cost us $600,000.

It was responsible for us hiring Gustav.

Same here. If he’s fired after that terribly coached game we have a different coach right now, and don’t have his outrageous buyout to deal with.

I think I have figured out Gus' best years to win 10+ games and play for the SECC and playoff series.

1. It has to be a year when we play Alabama and GA at home. Although now it will have to be when we play LSU instead of GA.
2. It occurs about every 4 years. 2013, 2017, next...2021.
3. We have to play a team from the East that is NOT Fla or one of the best teams in the East.

That is when Gus mostly will lose only 1 conference game, and win 7 conf games to get us in the SECC.

2020 was not good b/c we lost to FLa and after losing to LSU that pretty much knocked us out of the SECC before we even played GA/Alabama at home.

Except if we would of beaten one of the two teams from the east we would have made the playoffs with two losses.
