I’m tired of heat and hurricanes, I hear somewhere with colder weather calling me.
If you’re really interested in colder temps, I could hook you up with ab AU buddy of mine who lives in Northern Michigan....

Lol, Kansas is only an option because I want to live as close to Colorado without actually living in Colorado. Missouri, only cause they have google fiber.

Yeah, I got really lucky. There was a tree that started to fall towards my apt but stopped and only leaned towards it and they came and cut it down. Literally outside my complex trees down everywhere. I was without power for 4-5 days, and still don’t have internet. Using an iPad with WiFi hotspot. How about you?

Move to Wyoming then, Laramie is growing and adding entertainment, eateries, shopping, etc. College town and puts you in a good location for Colorado. NO KANSAS

Wyoming was on the short list, especially when I saw their yearly average snowfall. And Lanier, the colder the better.

I’ve lived in Florida for 7 years, long enough for me to realize it’s not for me. I’m tired of heat and humidity.

Less than an hour from the Snowy Range/Medicine Bow National Forest, about an hour to Fort Collins, maybe two to Estes Park, and six to Jackson Hole.

My mom lives in Cody and loves it.

Yeah, just don’t do it.
We’re going to have to drive East this year and the 8 hours it takes to get from the East burbs of Denver (which already looks like Kansas) to Kansas City is the longest 8 hours of your life.
Rock Springs & Green River are nice spots in Wyoming. Gets you close enough to SLC, Fort Collins, Steamboat, etc and the Western part of Wyoming is a gem of a state

It’s cracking me up how much everyone hates Kansas.

well...
... the highest point is Mt Sunflower. So you'd have to love flat and that's worst than either hot or cold to me.

Look, I’m a night shift working, pc building/gaming, blackout curtains, keep me in the ac type of guy. So all I see in that pic is annoying sand, sweating, sunburns, and discomfort.
Hell, I haven’t even been to the beach in the past 4 years and I live 10 miles away. Well, 32 miles now that the bridge is out.
