So you are saying that JUJU sucks because of a bad half? Or that Freeze sucks because he wanted a guy that didnt shine in his first half of playing?

Let the dudes uniform get dirty before we trash him. He is getting zero help out there

To be fair, he was ALOT of big schools top QB want. He had offers from Florida and Penn State as a 14 year old. He's also a redshirt sophomore but is still only 18 yrs old. He reclassified in high school. So instead of being a 2nd year player right now, he is supposed to be a true freshman this year. He was committed to USC before flipping to Colorado and I think Lincoln Riley knows a good QB when he see's one, seeing how he has coached 3 Heisman Trophy winning QB's. He was USC, Georgia, Indiana, Ohio State, Auburn and many other big schools top QB want. I was never a Freeze fan but if he missed on his scouting of JuJu Lewis, he can join the really long list of other coaches at major schools that missed on him as well.

I’d love to see us run the ball on Saturday like they are running it on GT tonight.

He is putting on a pretty good 2 minute drill but as stated earlier, he isn't getting much help...except for some poor tackling by Ga Tech. This GO GO Offense is probably a good one for CU to use

He played like complete dog shite until Colorado's last drive. Even then, he almost missed on the throw they scored on. I am more surprised at how good Colorado's OL played. They manhandled GT's D-Line for the whole 2nd half pretty much. And Key takes great pride in his DL.

Like the other poster said, Juju is still very young. He should get better, but he wasnt impressive last night.

Lewis wasn’t great last night but this is beyond a stretch of a criticism lol. That was a big time throw in a big time moment. Tight window on the wheel route and he put it in there.

It was a very similar game to Bo Nix’s first game against Oregon in 2019. Nix went 13/31, 177 yds, 2TD, 2 Int.

And both led a gaming winning drive when they needed to.

Sure. But lots of drops and he did drive them down the field and score. That showed some poise.

Im not saying he is the next Tom Brady, Im just saying that you may be a little quick on the draw with your criticism of him right now bro

Lets see what he does after he gets a few games under his belt

Yea he looked like a very raw freshman most of that game. However, he had some good throws and showed some good toughness. Definitely juiced on most of his deep balls and overthrew those. Get's those dialed in and it's a different story.

He is going to have some physical limitations for sure, just a tiny player.

Both teams had some bonehead first-game jitters plays, but I was impressed with CU in the trenches. I hope we can do the same thing in MBS on Saturday.

Agreed, especially considering how small they looked in a bunch of their offseason videos. I was shocked they were able to control the LOS as well as they did. I did not have much hope that GT was going to be that good of a team this year, so i'm taking a lot of that with a grain of salt.

Lol it isn't a criticism. It's a fact. Watch it again and look how far the receiver had to stretch for it.

Uh yeah that’s part of QB-ing. To put it in tight windows you have to trust your receivers to make a play.

JA doesn’t throw that ball and gets sacked.
