Jerry Kill post-game press conference
No logos, no pomp and circumstance, just a laptop and a mic. Just an old school ball coach who know how to scheme up an opponent and get his kids ready to play. They knew they were going to win when they came out of the locker room. It’s a really interesting listen…such a contrast in styles. No soul saving, no Monday morning themes, just X’s and O’s, and lining up to take Auburn’s money and leave a boot in our arse.
I’d never heard of the guy but I’m now a fan. He’s too old to get a shot at a big program but the dude is a ball coach. War Damn Jerry Kill.

I've heard of him, but was surprised to see him coaching at NMSU. He used to be the coach at Minnesota, and had a fair to good team there most years, but he had some health problems...I seem to remember him collapsing and maybe having a seizure in the sideline during a game. I thought he had retired.

Best part of interview was him saying (and I paraphrase)
"I went into locker room and told players they just paid us $1.8 million to beat them."

Yeah, if not for his serious health issues when he was at Minnesota, he would be at a big time P5 school right now.
Fun fact, he was the coach at Southern Illinois in the 2000s. He was the head coach there that Brandon Jacobs left Auburn to play for.

I see it as one of those teachable moments for a young team not to look ahead or get full of your self. As sabun calls it rat poison from the media. I think Freeze wants the team to feel the pain. It was Freeze's Pearl Harbor. I bet they lost focus during the week.
