Again. Looking at JJ season with his most attempts is comparable to Bo this year. JJ is considered the worst QB under Gus, for good reasons. At this point in his career, Bo is slightly better.

Bo is significantly better and to think otherwise is ridiculous. better runner, better passer, better leader, better everything.

Here are the career numbers for the two QBs in total offense (rushing and passing) and scoring.

Which do you think is which?

QB #1
2434 total yds (210 rushing, 2224 passing)
29 total TDs (9 rushing, 20 passing)

QB #2
5185 total yds (645 rushing, 4540 passing)
39 total TDs (13 rushing, 26 passing)

I have been very open about my feelings for Bo. He is not a P5 QB.

I disagree.

Is he the 5-star can't-miss stud we were led to believe? Certainly not.

But I believe that in the capable hands of a good QB coach and OC, he could develop into an all-SEC type. Not Heisman-worthy, but a consistent winner with solid numbers.

Unfortunately, barring a change at the top, that's not going to happen for him at AU.

I think Bo is a talented player. He makes some really amazing plays. I just think he messed up coming to Auburn. He needs some quality coaching really bad

Just imagine if Auburn didnt have to start a true freshman and instead let him mature 2 or 3 years before taking the reigns.

I say this every few months but if you look at Bo’s high school tape it all makes sense. He’s slightly better than high school but every single warning sign is there on the tape.

He’d be an awesome QB in a league where he’s more athletic than the DL and can extend plays with his feet and hit open receivers. That’s just not the SEC and I’m not sure he has the tools for this league. He certainly doesn’t have the instruction

It’s not all on Bo but it’s a bad fit

At least the Chris Todd offenses were fun to watch.

Bo needs better WRs. Period. Our OL is bad, like bottom half of conference bad. Our WRs aren’t very good either. They are probably middle of the sec. Those 2 together make it very difficult to be an explosive offense against the better defenses.

Bo is a much better QB then JJ6. I agree with most here probably about equalish to Stidham. Should see a giant step next year.

Why are we comparing QBs? Gus is the problem, compare him to other coaches making the same money. He's a complete fraud that says the right coach speak things that's apparently enough to appease the decision makers at AU.

We are loaded with talent at WR. More so than in any year i can think of under Gus.

Our OL gets more blame yet they are not as bad as people pretend they are. Middle of the pack SEC OL. Nothing special, doubt anyone gets drafted. Better than last year imo (not by much)

I do think the OL is better than last year barely but they have gotten absolutely whipped in a couple of games. In the UGA game, Bo never had a prayer of a chance.

The WR are not that good. We have two guys with an elite tool on each in Seth (catch radius) and Schwartz (speed) but all in all they are a very poorly coached, inconsistent group and none of them are well rounded.

Hard to tell when they're never hit in stride and half of everything is thrown behind them.
