If true this doesn't surprise me one bit. I always felt like it would be Freeze but that belief was due to him being one of my least favorite possible choices of those being mentioned. Not a fan of this potential hire.
Freeze me out of this choice.

- turned Malik Willis from Gus Malzahn trash heap to 3rd round NFL QB
- Hungry for another big time job like Bruce Pearl was

He and Kiffin were both about even with me behind Fickell. Kiffin's antics these last few days changed my mind. Freeze is a much better option than the Plan C names I've seen floating around.

Not sure what to think. I think he's a good coach, but I also think Auburn found themselves a bona fide yes man.

All it took was cheating at a level that resulted in vacating wins, scholarship losses, postseason bans, and him getting fired and suspended by the NCAA.
