With home court in Birmingham? I wish but that seems like a pipe dream.

He failed by at least not getting T'd up after the last KD drive and the game being over. We have been unlucky with the officials all year, tonight was unlike anything I've seen outside of a few high profile NBA games and we all learned the truth about what was going on there.

Auburns best teams are ones that shoot the 3 well from every position.

I want more Bryce Brown and Harper, less KD

Last season, there came a time when refs stopped giving us that shite, and we became soft. I think they're scared af about seeming like they're out to get the poor basketball program that bought their roster and refuses to control the players.

The last two seasons our late half/game shots or lack of shots have been terrible. I assume we won't get a good look or even a look at all at this point. This game, A&M and UTk the refs did a really poor job...felt purposely slanted. Ha! They had 2 guys ejected and we still ended up loosing more guys to fouls than 2.

I’m seeing the TCU basketball court and given more reminder that boosters need to stay out of basketball.

5 on 5 shirts vs skins and chain nets. Let’s go.

Why does Bruce keep drawing up game deciding shots for Green? Has he ever hit one? On top of that, he shot it horrible tonight.

This team's ability to lose close games is amazing. UTk couldn't hit a shot to save their lives, we lost. We could hardly miss tonight, we lost. We outscored the hell out of Bama from the line in Auburn, we lost. A&M outscored the hell out of us from the line in CS, we lost. We've been up big late and lost close, we've been down big in the 2nd half and lost close.

Somehow, no matter how the game plays out, it comes down to the wire and we always lose. It's remarkable really.

He's sucked pretty much every time. The one thing I think you could truly fault Bruce for is not calling a time out on the last possession and getting a better play than that.

I was ok with that shot. The key in tie game at end of regulation is you don’t want the other team to get an opportunity so you have to have your best ball handler initiate the action at the right time. I might have gone with a pin down to free up KD at about six seconds left and maybe let him attack downhill and maybe get a call but at the end of the day green got a good look at a spot he is a good shooter from (he is much better from mid-range than 3)

I’m okay with the WG shot at regulation.

We really don’t have a guy that you want to have the ball at the end of the game. WG is actually an offensive threat so why not him?

Sure we could’ve used KD but he’s erratic and no leader. He would’ve missed more free throws.

Yeah I guess that’s the key is you are choosing from bad options. At least you know Wendell will run the clock down, not turn it over and get a shot up there. If you gave KD the ball with 20 seconds left in the spot the possibilities are endless and a lot of them are bad

Well said. KD needs to be running the second wave next year and be out in clutch time.

KD has a unique skill set but I don’t think it works well for end of game strategy.

It just turned straight iso ball. Green hasn’t delivered yet in that situation. I’d rather see us run something. No one was moving.

We even set a screen and switched a much bigger defender on him. Horrible final possession, IMO

Agreed. Unless he’s having one of those games where seemingly everything he throws us goes in, I don’t like him as a last possession guy.
