Until we get him & them his rating drops below Bama's highest in state commit.

Bruce wants him so that's good enough for me.

FWIW JHead from the bunker says he's been told we’re in a very good spot with 4* WR Malcolm Johnson Jr. Currently projecting him to AU.

He’s depth at best. Bruce is a good sport. As he should be

Wonder why he didn't try as hard with Michael Trigg as some are saying?

Because Bruce is trying to win championships

They’re both far from ideal basketball prospects but Kool Aid has some projection. He’s meaningful depth.

Not sure Trigg is in the same boat. And Bruce isn’t going to play this game for a mid/low 4* TE

I also think getting the best 2 way player in Alabama is a recruiting and in state coup.

Looking at Trigg and McKinstry, Mckinstry as Jones said, looks more what Pearl needs for depth at guard. Trigg seems like a tweener even in basketball(we have a lot of depth at small forward) and not as polished with his basketball skills.

Trigg is pretty undersized for his position. Koolaid is at the very least a great athlete, which Bruce loves.

What happens if season is cancelled everyone gets another year of eligibility and we still get to bring in 23-24 scholarship players? I guess they would just forget the 85 limit rule or whatever it is ?

No one knows. Right now they haven't even said scholarships would carry over if the season is cancelled, though you assume they would since they did for other sports. One thing this situation has exposed is the lack of leadership from the NCAA and conferences.

i'd be shocked if they allowed an extra year...that would screw things up even more than just saying "sorry folks. COVID got you" then move on

It’s going to be a crap show either way. Either you deny an extra year and get a ton of kickback about guys not getting their last year to prove themselves worthy of the NFL. Or you have to grant an extra year and basically throw scholarship limits out the window for a year and then jack up half of a draft class. The only people that would forgo the extra year would be guys that are sure to be drafted in an earlier round.

Well they did it for the Spring sports. They have set precedent where they almost have to do it for Fall sports. Then again this is the NCAA so they'll probably say F precedent.
