I don't think he would have played OT.. he was a little too small for that position imo. And we have tons of guards. I think he probably wouldn't have even been in the 2 deep this year.

Last I heard he was working at OT. Probably profiles as a 6th OL. Coaches singled him out previously as a guy they liked in practice as a freshman. Not sure where he would have been on the depth chart but certainly stinks to lose healthy body there.

FWIW Per Hunter Adams Justin hadn't gained much strength the past 2 years & was running with the 3rd team this week in walk throughs.

No excuse for that with the access to nutritionists and training facilities.

A few nuggets.

Rusty from UGA 247 says he would pick Mondon to Auburn as of today but has low confidence in that pick.
He says UGA and LSU now lead for Nyland Green with AU now third. Keith seems to agree given his posts lately and also didn’t have Green in his most recent Auburn mock draft class.
Thinks Lassiter is a 50-50 battle between Auburn and UGA. Keith among other auburn connected people seem to think Auburn has gained some momentum and may lead.

Also told 247 he might commit on the 22nd

If T-Will pulls this off...

Wish we had a whole staff of recruiters and coaches like him.

We have a good recruiting staff overall. Maybe the best recruiting staff we have had in a long time.

I didn’t say they’re not good (well with the exception of Oline). But T-Will and maybe Garner are on a different level.

Bicknell has done a great job in a short time. Also Chad has been as impressive as T-Will & Garner in his short time.

Indeed. Maybe its Osborne's fault instead of Gus. You remind me of Statler and Waldorf from the Muppet Show:

I wonder what the downvote person's reasoning is for not the best staff. They must think KB is the weak link is all I can think of...

Really hard to do when your on the job less than a year. Relationships are a big thing in recruiting & that takes time to build with new recruits. With that said Chad has used his previous connections in Texas to help us land at least 4 good ones from there going back to Frazier from the last class. Very impressive work in less than 9 months.

I'm not the down voter but no recruiting staff is complete with the GOAT towel waver, Coach Trooper Taylor.

With as shitty as our offense has been for receivers, the simple route trees, highschoolish plays, and overall underutilization of that position, I'm surprised Kodi Burns recruits as well as he does. He does a great job given out situation. I hope Morris changes that so he actually has a system that is attractive to blue chip receivers.

I agree with that. Kodi is probably a top notch recruiter too. It’s hard to sell a shite sandwich.

Michael Trigg put out a top 3 and we weren't it it. SC, Southern Cal and LSU made the cut. Not sure if he's just playing games or what but it goes against everything we've been hearing for months now.

Yeah. Keith said as recently as a few days ago he thought AU was in a good spot.

ETA: Tay said he hadn't heard much about AU recruiting him hard in Bball like Kool Aid & that may have been a factor in us dropping. He wants to play both sports. Trigg's tweet
