This thread continues to deliver.

Bruce just out coached the SEC coach of the year and possibly the national coach of the year. The way we either went hard on the double team or didn’t go at all with the double team once they got the ball inside. I think only 6 South Carolina players scored and a couple of those was only 2 points each

And his best move was getting Denver some quality minutes at the point so that he has some options heading into the tournament because it looks like Holloway isn’t breaking out of his funk anytime soon, if at all.

I do love how someone bumps this thread after every game.

We win. Ha! What a loser!

We lose. Ha! Y’all are all losers

20-5 doesn’t seem like much losing. That Baylor loss continues to look like a quality loss

Scoper has a life he said. He’s too busy butt-fricking his cousin to respond to a win, but he’ll be here crawling up Bruce’s arse if we lose in the Tourney don’t you worry.

Well we will probably lose in both tournaments it’s just the odds. Has nothing to do with Bruce’s coaching. The coaching has been done by tournament time other then game plan and I trust Bruce as much as anyone game in and game out with a game plan.

We need to at least make Sweet 16 this year.

Would love an Elite 8.

Agree anything less then sweet 16 would appear to be a disappointment.

Hey I’m old but understand Auburn basketball history I’m just glad we are going each year. Probably more then half my life we haven’t made the Big Dance

I agree with this putting denver at the 1 and benching aden for now is thr right move. Denver still stuggle a bit finshing and with the lobs but hopefully he'll get there.

1) not butt fricking any cousins.

2) we lost in the 2nd round with two first round picks. Bruce needs to make up for that.

You’re one prideful son of a gun. Just take the L and move on. We are 20–5 and these are the salad days for Auburn basketball. Enjoy it for God sakes.

That's the thing.. it's great to be in the mix and it's where you want to be as a program. It's no secret that this Auburn roster isn't constructed like your typical deep March roster (the guards are probably a year away) but we are a good enough roster to get to an elite 8/sweet 16 regardless. And once you get there.. who cares about the March formula. Write your own history.

Who knows how far any team goes in the tournament. Matchups, upsets, happen everyday. It still pisses me off that if the ref called the Double Dribble, we would have a Bball Nattie. Remember that team only went 11-7 in the regular season. Sit back and enjoy each and every basketball game.

All about matchups, catching fire at the right time, and avoiding a game where everyone craps their pants (like against Miami).

So what's Lanier's excuse? He satisfies the former but doesn't meet the later.

I have paid attention to Auburn basketball since Kyle Davis was our ball swatter at the millennium.

I have only seen us advance past the second round twice that I know of.

But sure its on Bruce because he cannot advance past the second round more often.

He can beg for elite coaches that are just as susceptible to losses in the tournament. We have seen Virginia lose to a 16 seed and then win it all. Numerous big schoos lose to shite programs like FIU, George Mason, Loyola, etc. Was it the coaching that was the problem for the Caliparis, Coach Ks, etc?
