That MSU will be coming after Chiz ... salary mentioned was $180,000.00 per year for 3 years

Chizik is replacing a guy that was 14-12 overall before he was fired.
Chizik also had off the field problems just like Moorhead.
Don’t see Chizik as the answer.

From the article/interview with him earlier this season it sounded like he was implying he wasn't wanting to take another coaching job until his son is out of school (currently at Furman I think).
Talked about how he has had several offers and turned them down, and how it was nice to be able to leave the SEC Network studio in Charlotte and drive to Greenville to spend Sunday with the kid.

He's the HC, and he had the job for 4 years. He has to know how to keep a tight program. He failed somehow...
And I think in this day and age, they would be looking for someone w/ a good offensive pedigree. Unless he sells them on a great OC hire, I don't seem them going this route.
...Unless others pull out.
MSU is not a top level program. They can be solid and win 8-9 games at times(sound familiar)...but nothing more.

I agree that he has to have control of his assistant coaches if they are creating culture problems and it is his job to fix it
I would have some confidence in Gene that he learned from that and would not let that type of thing happen again. He could be a good hire for them
