Are the sins of 2004 forgiven?

I could probably finally let go.

No, that will never be forgiven. That team got jobbed and I will never let that go. But it sure would be SWEET.

Nope, 2004 was complete BS.

Not a chance.

I will never forget leaving the Sugar Bowl - capping an undefeated season - and it feeling like a loss.

Same here....it was a very strange feeling leaving the Superdome that night....I remember looking at my dad at the conclusion of that victory and saying "well....I guess that's it"

Why would it? Until we have a National Title for the year 2004, it will not be forgiven

Our next AD should claim that NC. We have more of a claim to it than many teams throughout CFB history.

The fact there is an empty spot for 2004 is bad for the sport.

Burns me to this day. SC's whole run was wiped away because of massive cheating anyway.

Exactly, they cheated to win, and ultimately had the title revoked. It’s only logical to give the title to the only other undefeated team from that year.

Also, college football admitted they screwed up in leaving Auburn out by making the playoff. We need an AD who will swim his dick and make the 2004 championship happen.

I really don’t care because that usc squad was unstoppable so we probably would’ve lost anyway.

It will be sweet revenge from last year, though.
