Deion ain't coming to Auburn. We aren't going to give him the one thing it should take to get him here...control.

I love how Auburn’s fanbase actually thinks the administration is competent enough to hire a respected coach.

You guys kill me.

If BH is let go, prepare yourself for Coach Rhett Lashlee.

You've got to be more than a recruiter to win at this level. Deion is NOT the right guy. Drop the Deion nonsense.

Aranda is my top choice.

Grimes would be on my list.

No to D. Sanders.

Up comers both OC and DC. But needs to be a splash type in this recruiting area. Can’t go get Iowa’s DC.

Coach Rodney Garner if you are willing to stack talent for the next coach. Same type hire would be Dell McGee. I think Dell would want more long term promises then Coach G

But I’m still willing to wait out this season and recruiting class before I say it’s definitely time to move on.

I do think the next coach needs to be a defensive minded coach. We’ve had 2 offensive type coaches back to back. Seems we do best when swapping back and forth between offense and defense.

But hell no to Will Muschamp.

I’d consider Mike Elko I think he’s a future star head coach

It boggles the mind. Every coaching hire we want "big name guy". We often go after "big name guy". "Big name guy" gets a raise at his current school and we get some unproven HC.

Garner is not HC material.

You may be right and usually I agree, but there are some coaches who don’t always seem to be the brightest in the room, but fit in well with everyone in the room and they can do well. Ed O had some success. I think Pittman is another guy that just seems like a good fit. Can you narrowly define why G can’t be a HC?

He won a national championship. If that isn’t some success then I don’t know what is.

Chiz won a NC. Chiz is a great DC but not a good HC, at all. Larry Coker won a NC. He was not a good HC, at all.

Orgeron, in ten years as a HC, won more than 6 games three times....at Ole Miss, USC and LSU.

Ok. So he had some success. Thanks for getting around to it.

Ed Orgeron had a 51-20 record and won a NC where he fit in the most.

The HC you constantly want to get rid of has had a hell of a lot of success. "It's just Boise St.". Look at what Boise St. has done since he left. You bring up names of losers or unproven HC's for replacements........or Cristobal and other pipe dreams.

Like I have said many times.............look at Auburn's HC hires. They were all nobodies. Some worked out. Some didn't.
