Well since we've been talking HC all this time I figured that was implied. My statement was we couldn't hire any NFL coach, whatever NFL job they currently have, as our HC. That was only in response to you throwing out that fat frick Reid's name

Meaning an NFL coach in any capacity, meaning HC all the way down to assistant Special Teams coach to be our HC right now. I'm aware of NFL position coaches coming over as position coaches. You implied, for reasons I can't comprehend, that I was a retard and thought we would have a chance at Reid. I'm saying we would have a hard time attracting an NFL coach of any kind as HC after popping Harsin.
We aren't going to have a lot of real options. Rhett would obviously probably be one.

Yeah, that's not what you said. In fact, we hired a couple of coaches from the NFL in the offseason. One didn't make it.

Not necessarily directed at you. I don't get the weird hate for our boosters. They dump tons of money into our program. What we did in the past is legal now. Why do some of you not want to imbrace our built in advantages?

I agree, over zealous boosters in the past brought NCAA trouble. Now, possibly better recruits. I don't think Harsin could win them over now...right, wrong, or indifferent. I think if the next coach has that support from them they could be wildly successful, even Rhett (that was meant as a joke, not as a shot at him).
I think our problem is they get involved in far too many things, in too many places, too often. They'd rather stand on the sideline while we win 7 or 8 games instead of sit in their seats while we win 10+
