By season's end, AU will have played 50% of the top 10 teams in the first playoff ranking for `19. That is insane!

I understand the frustration with having a TF QB with the context of how we really could have run the table with moderately better QB play.

We had a good season but, with even serviceable roster management and QB development, this could have been a championship season.

It is a legitimate gripe. If, however, we finish the season 10-2 with home wins against rivals, it was still a good season wherein we finished above our historical average. But that is a very big if.

Championship caliber defense, one of the best ever at Auburn. OL consists of all seniors.

We start a TF QB, who has played like a TF. Backup QB was highly recruited, was in the system for a full year, and got to throw 7 passes all season.

We have a coaching problem. Until that changes, get used to hanging your hat on almost beating good teams.

It's starting to look like our fanbase is turning into a Mississppi school. Happy with just losing two games. Meanwhile, that school across the state, which I dislike very, very much, demands a much higher expectation. They canned their last coach, and made a commitment to winning championships. We gave a huge contract extension to a guy who didn't even win the conference, and hired 28 y/o Dilly Dilly as his OC.

So fire every coach until a Nick Saban level coach falls into our lap? Good luck with that.

LSU will have played 4, and they are undefeated.

I swear this is what 30% of this board wants.

We gave our current coach a $49 million contract, and he did not win the conference!

With a senior transfer QB. Remember when Ensminger was co-offensive coordinator here? Now he's the second coming. It has to do with personnel. He's the same clown he was here at Auburn. We fired him and he took a job at Smiths Station High School.

Overpaid, middle of the road coach, with a large contingent of the fanbase that thinks we can't do any better. Happy with only two losses.

Can't wait to see how 'Ol Gus gets the fanbase-excuse making machine all revved up next year with a brand new OL and DL and journeyman Cord as the go to guy if Nix get injured.

Wait? Are you saying Ensminger only has had success because he has good players? How many times has Gus finished in the top 10 in recruiting since he became head coach?

I love that you’ve already written next season off. We trade Oregon & Florida for Kentucky and North Carolina. You have a chance to start 6-0/5-1 again next season. The defense will be just fine next season as well. The o-line has been inconsistent at best this season. The playmakers on O will all be a season older.

Since we are all trolling each other here

Nice article from Auburn official site on our three Senior DBs. It just seems like that side of the ball wants to be great. Kinda like what goose, Jang, and jville want for our team.
And then there is the pro Gusser side. Well, they’re just tagging along for the ride.

You do realize that the bunch we had starting was the best we had right? They are all gone after this season. Just how much better do you think the OL will be next year, considering none of them could beat out this bunch?

Not quite. The Bama loss put a smile on my face!

But that pic was pretty accurate after the FLA and LSU game.

Sometimes I picture you guys sitting around your kitchen table, pretending to be the board of trustees with any resemblance of responsibility over what happens based on the carefully crafted post you make here

And it really gets me through my lunch hour
