There is an issue in the AD that has not changed from Jay Jacobs to Cohen. The #1 spot under the AD. I've never heard anything good.

I assume the suites are scholarship sections are full and we are not poor.
Hard to be an out right hater here - although I have no clue about the guy.
Also he seemed to work well with Cam.

Being the "Cam Handler" in 2010 is his big win. We won't fault him on that.

I was in Auburn for 35 years and encountered your boy on many occasions in social and professional settings. He neither coached nor played on any of the teams you give him recognition for. I mean come on… Boom was here for a single season. Don’t give him credit for the 2004 season - Tubbs reported directly to the university president.

However, look at the PR nightmare that was the Cam Newton saga. Look at the complete and utter collapse of Chiz’s tenure. Every time any of us turned around there was some saga that ole “Ah Shucks” would simply bury his head in the sand. He literally NEVER drove the narrative on a single issue. He was pathetically silent because he was incapable.

He was a “yes man” that did what he was told. He simply did not posses the executive skills to do any of the things you’ve attributed to him. Period. Full stop. No queda nada más que decir.

Credit Chiz or JJ, but someone held that team and the whole show together under the most intense national scrutiny.

I call all of that a PR win under his tenure.

He had no more say any other AD we've had. They are just talking heads that agree to come be the fall guy when multiple coaches don't work out.

Why haven't we been told the details of the Nike deal?

It's been two years, not a peep. What is he afraid of?

Most every program in the nation brags about their Nike deal when signed, but the AD who beats his chest about all the revenue and NIL he generates won't release the details of Auburn Athletics' (presumed) biggest business deal ever?

Um, I have no idea what you’re talking about. I never once mentioned Cohen. I have never…
1. seen Cohen live and in the flesh
2. never suggested Cohen has been a positive for Auburn athletics

I am sure you consistently bitch and complain

I would say Auburn did an outstanding job during that time. Everyone involved did a great job. How that team was held together amongst all that scrutiny from EVERYONE is amazing. AND they couldn’t lose.

That's the rumor on the streets but then I see what you post and I wonder what gives.

Jacobs delivered actual championships. The last two has only worked against us.

So maybe you should stop complaining about Jacobs and stfu

This.

People can try to discredit him however and why ever they want, but Auburn won in football, baseball, basketball and softball under him. We WERE an everything school. Now we’re arguably just a baseball school with every other sport being bad to terrible.
