Did 6 miles on the local high school track today. Barefoot. HR134. Easy miles.

I need to get my arse off the couch and go walk. Been sitting here watching the game and working on spinnerbait blades all day. And all day yesterday

Hey. I did one once. No kidding. IN Atlanta. IMG half. 13, 10 min miles. Like a diesel.

Sounds boring. How long did that take you? I ran all zone 2 today. It was boring but not for six miles.

I’m not a fan of the track, but it’s close to the house and very flat. It’s really the only way I can stay in HR 130 zone. Think I wanna try some trail running next year. Gonna get some trail running shoes for my bday and start trying that.

I can't run on pavement with any enjoyment. I do it, but it's a difficult task.

I have to be so focused on my next step when trail running. Step to step. That's what I get out of it. I'm not a goobed out, hippy dippy person.

I like road racing. I can focus on the horizon and just hammer down without having to worry about busting my arse. With that said, I’d like to work one long, slow trail run per week into my routine. I wish I lived in SLC with all the options you have there. Downtown is awesome and flat as a board. Tons of mountain trails to hike or run. Dedicated bike lanes everywhere. I’d move there tomorrow if I could.

Just ran 10 x 60 yd. Thanks for the inspiration alpine. Gonna get back into sprinting this year. I grew up doing it but it’s kind of weird to see a grown man running sprints so I stopped doing it after college lol

MBHS allows regular folks to run on the track? Most schools close the track off except for Heardmont. I work near-ish to MBHS so that’s good to know.

I’m up there all the time. Never seen it closed to the public. Run the track or stadiums all day if you want.

1/8 of a mile and I'm on the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. I've never run the opposite direction.

We don’t let anyone on our track. Had it resurfaced about 3 years ago and don’t let anybody else on it for the most part.

Randoms tear shite up for us. And wear out lane 1. Had a bunch of middle school lacrosse assholes dancing around on our HJ pit with cleats on last year in addition to tearing up the apron.

And never got why anybody wants to run on a track anyway. I keep my kids off of it as much as possible.

I’m worn out just thinking about running today. All those miles y’all put in has me exhausted

“I’m worn out thinking about” is never a great way to carry on conversation with a bunch of bros after you already told us about your wife’s fake tit size.
