I assume it’ll be softball questions, but Rece still has enough Bama in him that I wouldn’t be surprised if he asks, “With your very recent history of intimidating sexual assault victims, how do you see your role in fixing Auburn’s increasing rape incidences along with ignoring student protests about sexual assaults occurring on campus?”

If he does that I hope Freeze comes back with something like, I believe all victims should be heard and supported, now Reese what are you going to do about Bama's rapes that are high than Auburn and increasing even more rapdily.

Reece closes down the bar every weekend they travel. I don’t think he wants to get into a pissing match.

At Jerry’s world for Oregon he could barely walk out of the hotel bar

He will just respond how he did during the press conference.

Great that he is getting out there. He met with a lot of the HS coaches who are in town for the Super 7.

Hugh gets recruiting.

I REALLY doubt he does it but you never know. Generally you don't do crap like that on Gameday because you don't want any bad blood. Auburn will have him coached up for shite like that though.

I’m seeing less and less from the media on Freeze’s past. By weekend, that should be out of that news cycle and they’ll be onto something else (all except Joseph Goodman and a few others).

Did Harsin ever do an ESPN interview?

Justin Lee continues to be a bitch on Twitter about the hire.

Near zero percent chance Auburn let’s Freeze go on gameday without an agreement in place on what’s in/out of bounds, and no way Rece Davis or anyone else there will go outside if it.

Just my thoughts . All of that stuff gets worked out in production meetings

Writers can take shots and make enemies. Their livelihood is in clicks, which they can generate without direct access/friendly relations.

Talking heads cannot do that, or at least they generally attempt to avoid it.

If they ask him about it i wish he would just be honest and say “look I was buying a 350 pound OL recruit virgin some pussy just like everyone else does. I was just too stupid too not use by burner”

Giving writers a pass on their bias reporting for clicks is naive. They do it for personal reasons or because someone is giving them “clicks$”. They have an agenda whether created by themselves or by someone else.

AL.com had an entire section of articles on Freeze the other day and every headline was negative. Every single one of them. That my friends is an agenda that seems to come from the top. IMO

Ok...

My point isn't to give writers a pass, my point is to explain why talking heads are generally less likely to gin up controversy that can alienate them with their subjects than writers are. Hence Rece isn't likely to behave like Goodman or Bianchi.

If you're an interviewer who needs every major coach in the country to be willing to crack jokes with you on your fairly lighthearted TV show, you're going to be less likely to risk deeply pissing off one of those HCs than someone who writes for the newspaper and wasn't going to get some meaningful in depth interview with you anyway.

Jill could have left and got millions. She stayed. Tells me HCHF is good enough to believe in.

What hotel did you stay at? Was the team at the Gaylord? We stayed DT at the Marriott Marquis.
