I will also say that I'm not sure Oklahoma doesn't make a move as well at the end of the season with Venables. Their record is smoke and mirrors currently and I could see them losing 3 of their last 4 games and finishing 7-5.

Jokes on Florida and LSU. Guess they don’t realize they’re going to be the next Tennessee.

Certainly not at QB. The jury is still out about the OL.

Gus was bringing in
JF3
TyLer Queen
Jeremy Johnson
Chayil Garett

Two HS talents he didnt know how to use and one of those was a deep Auburn legacy that loved Auburn more than you ever loved Auburn.

Nobody mishandles the OL more than Gus. Dont be dumb bitch. When Hugh starts switching DL to offense let me know.

Jokes on Auburn we have been losing 5 to 6 games a year for the last decade but we are just now only one more bad hire before hard veering off into the Tennessee wilderness. Therefore we need to hire who greygoose says. And greygoose says........Bill O Brien.

Its a big roll. There are questions we just don't have answers to about Sumrall. We could make assumptions but that is about it. We have seen that he can succeed at Troy and Tulane but there is no guarantee that the success can be replicated at Auburn. One of the biggest questions I have is whether or not we would be able to retain our players. Would our most talented players be willing to play for Sumrall or would they just go in the portal? Can Sumrall recruit the level of talent needed for the SEC? What about our defense which is one of the few things working right now? Would Sumrall keep Durkin or bring in someone new? At this point, there are more questions than answers. I understand that coaches don't come with a guarantee and that you do have to take chances sometimes but I am not sure this is the right risk to take at this point.

We have a solid shot at our fifth losing season in a row. I'd say we've already well veered.

I always believed in Bo. When he struggled at Auburn, I blamed the offensive line. I was sorry to see him leave Auburn but I understood why he did it. I am pleased to see him playing well in the NFL.

Let me know when that massive recruiting class shows up in Boulder and Prime can manage to keep the score respectable against Utah.

Last time Malzahn did that he secured his big buyout and then proceeded to lose the SECCG and then a bowl game against UCF. Nightmare scenario

Summerall stepped in a good situation at Tulane. Have no idea about Troy, not sure if he was after Neil or not.

What blinded us and only slacker and freep caught onto it was the amount of moneyliberty poured into their football program versus their peers. If Tulane is the same way then maybe Sumerall isn't the answer.

I am not a Summerall fan boy. Just playing devils advocate. He absolutely turned Troy around.

He followed Chip Lindsey at Troy (who never won more than 5 games). From 5 wins to 12 wins in his first season.

Yes he inherited a good program at Tulane, but its the transfer portal era. How many of those Willie Fritz players are even still there? Tulane is a program that loses a lot of talent to bigger schools. Their star QB left last season to go get paid at Duke.
