That is the least he can do. He fricked up our football program beyond belief and is leaving with 15 million dollars.

I’m pretty sure Rig blogs for Harrison. He was compromised a long time ago when he hid under the sheets.

Classy response. Say what you will but the guy’s demeanor, at least publicly, has always been measured and dignified. I like the guy, I just don’t think he had any clue what it took to succeed in these shark-infested SEC waters. Good luck to Harsin moving forward.

Meta is absolutely correct. The Clesi shite was all internet rumor bullshite. We been trying to tell y’all that for like 8 months.

There was a legitimate investigation into player and coach treatment. Some of the complaints were racial in nature.

Like I said many times before who benefited from the Clesi rumor? The University or Harsin? It was a bullshite smoke screen by the Hardashians

Yup.

You make this "classy" statement when you know that the university has more on you than you do on them. All he can do is bite his tongue if he wants another job at a major program ever again. Meanwhile Auburn can issue a statement that doesn't even reference his name. Gee, who do you think has more power?

It was comical seeing AU fans believing that we launched an investigation with absolutely nothing on him. Or that he actually had "proof" of the boosters or admin starting rumors about him (which was the actual absurd rumor in the entire saga).

What’s with the rumor that the university kept mum about questionable stuff his family did?

There are rumors of Corn w/ one of the daughters. There are rumors with multiple football players and the daughters. And there is the fact that Kes wished one of her daughters a birthday by showing off her daughter’s arse (fully clothed.)

They got their nickname honestly.

We can be grateful for one thing on the field he did last year and that was breaking the streak in Baton Rouge.

This is what I heard last fall.

Along with this nugget. Kes was given an account at a boutique to buy more conservative clothing for her.

Cultural fit was bad. Notre Dame baseball player set us back 10 years.

This rumor is false. But Corn did complain because his players were uncomfortable with the daughters showing up in the locker room.

This actually happened. His wife and daughters on the sidelines, in the locker room, etc. during games. Complete clownshow behavior.

Out of all the very small goings-on I've heard this is one of them. It was the first time I ever heard them called the Hardshians a few months ago. This stuff pissed a LOT of influential people off. From that moment on I understood why February coup happened.

The wife was just checking on prospects to keep her company while Harsin was with his assistant.

He wasn’t ready for the job…. The man that hired him wasn’t ready for the job…. The former AU President made numerous mistakes that lead to this week.

This is accurate. The person that I think I blame the most is Allen Greene. He took a huge risk and went rogue to hire a guy he felt comfortable with after an encounter in a hot tub. And Gogue should have stayed retired. It was just the perfect storm of bad leadership trickling down.

Having said that, I think Roberts is acting strategically and quickly. Cohen is a good hire; he’s a championship-caliber SEC coach that got things done at Mississippi State. He’s from the Birmingham area. He will understand what to look for in a coach and he knows the region. An AD with a ton of SEC experience as a coach and administrator is a huge benefit and improvement to the program.

The biggest thing to me is the following: We have a university president who has been here as both a professor and an administrator, and he was able to hire an athletic director who has experience in this conference, and also seemed to have no problem retaining and promoting the man who was already here and was beloved by multiple coaches/staff.

This is honestly the first time in my brief knowledge of the full composition of Auburn that it seems all of the parts are aligning to a point where they have potential to all be in lock-step together.

LCT that's why I think any of the top 5-6 targets can all win at AU. Unless we just get someone in here that just refuses to accept the inner workings in and around Auburn I think the next guy is setup nice for a 6-8 year run of support. The first couple years will be shaky win wise but building a program is where we are.

Last post on Harsin. He sucked.

1) did not understand recruiting, did not try, did not visit HS, did not send coordinators to visit, recruiting was bad before the investigation and he stopped trying. Also did not recruit the portal. Junior weekend was put together late and no one showed up. Big cat was almost as bad.
2) terrible in game coach. Made JR high school mistakes that cost multiple games.
3) his way or the Highway ran a lot of players off
4) his ego with coaches was terrible. 5 coordinators in less than two years.
5) the investigation was for real reasons, but the leaks were bad. Should of suspended him until the investigation was done.
6)Auburn has traditionally moved employees when inappropriate affairs happened, this would have hurt in court.
7) did not meet with stakeholders, this year did a 60 second video for football Scholarship weekend, did not show up for dinner (at Lucy’s) with the big time boosters (Bruce was there)
8) his daughters had too much access to players at the wrong times. They can sleep with whoever they want and dress how they want, but it makes the coach look bad.

Yes. But it is his job to get us there. Nothing was dysfunctional like AU basketball before Bruce. The first day on the job he ordered like $3k of pizzas and invited the students to a pep rally. It is shite like that you have to like doing.
