And according to Harsin when asked about it.. it wasn't a big deal and people shouldn't look into it. Lol.

I want to know how this guy went from playing as a true freshman for coach G, but now isn't good enough for these new coaches.

I doubt this is talent related, he was probably being a shithead. Some shitheads are going to be ran off by a new staff, just kinda is what it is...

Come on, that’s exaggerating what he said.

And also, I don’t think it is at all that he’s not good enough for the new coaches.

I like how you just go straight to him being a problem lol. The man hasn't had a single issue since he's been on campus and now he's "probably being a shithead" based on absolutely nothing.

This is the exact quote.. "so don’t make it any bigger than it is. They just weren’t out there today for different reasons."

Interesting comment, considering you're jumping to the conclusion that he isn't good enough for these coaches, based on absolutely nothing.

Maybe both sides just don't see eye to eye on stuff. It happens with coaching changes.

Yeah, I wouldn’t jump all the way to him being a shithead. But, it is weird that he went from being one of the highest energy guys at the open practice and tweeting that he loves the new staff to missing A day for undisclosed reasons and then hitting the transfer portal.

Did he get in the doghouse? Who knows. Maybe he just doesn’t get on with the coaches as well as he thought he would.

For all we know, those tweets were completely tongue and cheek.

Here are the facts: we had a regime change and some players have entered the transfer portal. That happens with every coaching change, and we have no more information to go off of.

From Harsin's comments about A-Day, maybe it literally isn't a big deal. Maybe the way we want to use him in our scheme is not what he wants to do, and they both decided it was best to let him explore other options.

He was essentially suspended from A-Day and now he is in the portal two weeks later.

I will stick by my assessment of the situation and say that he was probably being a shithead.

If you know him so goshdamn well, just ask him wtf happened?

There's a big difference between thinking the coaches didn't like someone and calling them a shithead and questioning their character, but whatever if it makes you feel better.

Yeah, for the record, I 100% agree with you. My reference of the tweet was more to say that it probably wasn’t a shite head thing. As with any coaching change, boss change, or manager change, sometimes people just don’t see eye to eye or don’t agree on the way they are being used. It happens.

Hate that it happened to Handy cause I think he showed a lot of potential, but we knew it was possible that we would lose some guys.

Today I learned "assessment" means to make stuff up.

I never understand why kids go to the transfer portal. This has got to be one of the worst things the NCAA came up with. All reports and stats point to it being bad on the kids, very seldom does it work out and most either have to drop down a level or dont get picked up at all.

Dont know what the issue is but trusting CBH on this on and best of luck to Handy

We will probably never know what happened and it’s really not any of our business. Hate to ever lose anyone to the portal but we will win some in the portal as well. Doesnt make coaches mean or players shitheads.

I’ll say this for any player that doesn’t want to be here it’s probably best they aren’t here.

Gotta agree there. From playing and coaching sports, if people think that they don’t want to be on the team then they shouldn’t be there.

Transfers have always happened but the portal has definitely things. I’m generally in favor of players being able to play wherever they want to. It’s their life. But the ease of it robs these kids of the chance to work through things with their coaches.

Probably at this point more of Hunter being the beast this early. I think JJ will be a star but think it’s not this year but next year when he really shines. He needs a lot of hand work and upper body strength to take on consistent double teams. Plus has to embrace that defensive mentality.
