Why? Especially when we have DJ not getting touches and Shivers should be getting more touches. How about Harold Joiner? This is the epitome of Gus’ tenure, he will never change.

We tried everyone. When you only have 9 rushes in a half, it's difficult

Yep. 9 rushes... hard to establish a rhythm.

IMO Boobie is the best pure runner and DJ is second but young (pass protection issues?). Case for DJ is valid. Nobody else on our roster is on their level.

Shivers and co. may have moments, but that’s just it. Just a moment.

I’m a big DJ fan but he was awful today. He looked like Kam Martin, just putting his head down and running into the OL.

Does it really matter who runs the ball when Gus just calls the same dive play over and over?

I agree. Boobie's fumbling issues are the only thing keeping him from being a stellar back.

Just really sick with offensive wizard that coaches the tigers. Like everyone else says hell maybe next year......we r stuck with this dumpster fire offense,(and thats what it is and what it will be) everybody thought was so great coming out of high school until at least next season. Enjoy the ride guys it will be very bumpy yet again next year. What a s....show

1st down - dive for 2-4
2nd down - dive or jet sweep for 2-3
3rd down and 3-4 - forty yard incomplete pass

Same shite every time.

Gus has no intention of moving the chains and getting rhythm.

Live or die by the big play.

I was throughly disgusted by our inept offense and our defense.

But explain to me the reasoning for this offensive series.

It's tied 24-24.
We just stopped them 2nd, 3rd, 4th downs
We have energy momentum stopping them. Time to attack right?
Gus calls these 3 plays. Run between tackles by DJ. 2 yds. Run. Between the tackles 2yds. Pass incomplete

Why were we not aggressive. No pass plays on 1st or 2nd downs. Why?

That to me really got my craw. Minn gets ball back. 1st play. Deep post. TD.
Not us. They were attacking.

Because Gus has no actual football sense.

High football iq. Low football sense. He’s the book smart kid in the class with no street smarts.

I understand the frustration

His hard headed arse put the defense in terrible situations from the jump today and many times during the season.

He is more concerned with

Than he is gettin the team in a rhytm

That was a great example of a well-designed play call.

QB saw the mismatch in coverage, WR exaggerated it by faking the S to the sideline then cutting up the field, OL provided just enough protection to give QB time to spot the WR and hit him in stride.

That and the two passes to the TE (who had 3 catches in his career coming in) were evidence of a simple but effective game plan and competent execution.

Why can’t we have that?

ETA: and this was by a team that lost its OC two weeks ago.
