I was impressed by him, but I think Walker is the next starter after the next Transfer.

I think he is a better option than Payton

He has good size. Loved his quick survey of the field and decision to go to his outlet if nothing there. He is fast and sharp.

We didn't get to see if he can scramble and run.

68,

Loved the interview he had with Zac after the bowl game. He reminded him he has been playing scout in practice all season against our DBs so it helped his development.

To your point, he said on that beaut to Burton....I walked up to the line and they were in a cover four, when the ball was snapped the safety took Fair in the slot on an outside move which meant Burton would be coming deep across the middle one on one...just had to throw him open.

Couldnt help but think about Freeze #1 rule for QBs, when you walk up to the line "are you seeing what you are seeing", evidently he did, and quite well

I think the spring game should feature Hank against White.....

Tell Thorne to take the day off .....

One thing I really like about HB is that he played HS ball for Dilfer. I don't know what kind of college head coaching career Dilfer will have, but the guy knows quarterbacks. If Hank is as smart as he sounds, he got some really good coaching from him. He has to be further along than most other QBs his age simply because of who his HS coach was.

I've defended Thorne and after the bowl game, I just can't anymore. There's something wrong with his confidence and idk if he can ever get it back after the 2-3 seasons he has gone through. I think the competition has to be between Brown and Walker White and take the lumps with the young guys.

Let the RBs run, while the QB throws

I once saw an open challenge competition in a video game like Early Call of Duty or Doom. The player was "Fatality." He just saw things quickly that the competition didn't see and I don't think he ever lost.

I get the sense that Hank Brown's brief performance kind of looked like that. He just saw the field all at once and decided where to pull the trigger.

Hank looked good and I don’t want to take away from that but looks like he had single read if not there dump off to the back because of prevent defense.

I agree with all of this. If we're not winning 10 games (which is unlikely), then I'm ready to start gearing up for the next year

Bocephus Brown threw only 2 RB dump offs. And you can see his head moving, scanning the field. Definitely not all 1 read throws.
