Just wanted to preserve that quote for the board considering recent discussions.

How do we feel about that statement?

Good for him. Still ask him to find another job. The offense won't work against a good defense and didn't work extremely well against a bad one tonight.

Gus. He was waay too conservative in the Red zone. I mean, FOUR field goals inside the red zone

Chex Mix, roll out your play calls so we can feel better about your Gus rants.

Much better play calling this week......but we could have hung 45 on them if we had a decent red zone offense.

A good leader gives credit to others Over praise. I'm not saying Rhett didn't make some calls, I just think Gus was being a better leader in that statement.

Anyone here that thinks what we did tonight will work against UGA and Bama are kidding themselves.

Yeah, idk about the Georgia game anymore. They held Kentucky to 180 total yards. Their QBs still suck, but no doubt Sony Michel will run wild.

I expect a low scoring game.

One thing that Richt has excelled at is getting his teams ready and pumped to play us, we are their biggest rivals. I expect nothing different from him this year.

If our defense goes back to JH and plays UGA like they did tonight, UGA might not score more than 10 on us but if our offense plays like they did we might not score at all. I don't want to go too nega in this thread because we did a lot well but we still had 4 redzone trips that ended as field goals.

I could see that, and I don't think we would have to play lights out to hold them to that. Their offense is one dimensional right now. Their QBs suck and their WRs are good, not great. Countess and Carlton Davis should be able to disrupt their passing enough that they'll have to run. If we can stack the box and focus on containing and wearing out Michel then I don't think they have anybody else that can carry them on offense.

How long is Matthews out?

Didn't really do anything special. They just can't stop the run. Gus should be thanking Jovon then apologizing to him for derping in the redzone.
