“They showed some things we haven’t seen on film”

“This is what happens with young teams”

“We’re better than we showed today”

“Their punter was too much for us to handle today”

“ Throne has Covid”

Whatever that man has to say falls on deaf ears now. He now owns two of the most embarrassing losses at JH in Auburn history. Although nothing will ever be as bad as losing to NM State by three touchdowns at home.

Guess the post-game presser excuses…

“We just didn’t “execute” and play up to the the level of our potential and we need to manage our expectations…

We still have a lot to play for…

…and we’ll build on this “set-back” going forward, learn from the takeaways from breaks that didn’t quite go our way…and continue to lay the foundation for success as this season progresses and we move forward from here”

I can do it right now.

-(Most country hick response)
- We love our fans, we have the greatest fans in America
- We saw some things on film, and they adjusted
- QB missed reads, and that is on me (nice AU pullover though)
Adjusts water bottle
- "Say Again", didn't catch that.
- We gave them some looks
- If we just keep trying
- Well QB made a bad read on that one.
"Coach, Coach, they had a back up center that "flipped" the ball back to the QB, caused a couple of false starts, b/c the center snap was so bad."
-Well, we don't teach that in Fall Camp.

I'm still salty enough that I hope as Freeze gets near the podium, someone stops him and says "Sorry, no visitors allowed".

“We turned the ball over. They did not.”

“Their LB #10 made us his bitch.”

“We cannot block.”

“Their QB WAS Sharp. Ours was not.”

Don’t we lose to USF in the early 2000s

I remember that game. USF had a really good team that year. With a stud quarterback, whose name escapes me. That was one of their best years ever I think. They were ranked in the top 10 of memory serves.

We lost by one score to a power 5 team that will go bowling. Settle down Nancy

Penn State hanging over 40 on Auburn and your boy, Harsin, was way worse and isnt even close.

So the last interception is because KLS ran the wrong route. lol

Two of his brand new weapons helped directly result in interceptions.

Yeah, I should have worded it more clearly. Cal produced him and Goff.

So to act like USF was unique for having a good QB was kind of a cop out.

Cal’s QB yesterday looked pretty good, too.

Memory sort of serves you.

USF was unranked before playing us. They became ranked after beating us. Went on to also beat a good West Virginia team. Eventually got ranked #2. But then lost three straight games to Rutgers, UConn, Cincinnati and fell out of the rankings. Also got waxed by Oregon in the bowl game.
