Feels like we've just out athleted the first three games. Good to win but id like to see some set plays ran and executed

Steven Pearl now 4-0 as HC. If we beat Houston just build the statue now. Also Hall starting my Hall for POY campaign now.

If you can score 95 every game you aren’t losing many…

I’ll be shocked if we get to 95 against Houston though.

SP talked about that this week I think. They have been holding some sets back because they will need them against stronger comp and don't want to expose too much.

Pretty good game tonight. Some guys seem to be getting their legs under them. Learning floor spacing. Got a tough on coming up next.

Looking at the rosters in that time frame I'm going to guess Moochie Norris in Ellis's 2nd season.

Just looking through the stats since I was busy tonight and only caught the last half of the 2nd half. Man, this team cannot shoot free throws.

I'd have to go back and look at who shot them. Freeman and Hall seemed fine from the line. The bigs struggled a bit more, but that's the norm.

Our D has ratcheted up. Glad of that. Pett needs to get going. Big boy ball starts Sunday. It will be a tall task, but we will find out where we are at the moment. See you there.

Yeah i just went and looked and it wasn't as bad as I initially thought. I just saw 66% and started smh. But we only shot 18 for the game.

But Jovic missed 3 of 6. SWA missed his only attempt. And Freeman missed 2, going 6-8.

Not terrible considering it was mostly Jovic and SWA bringing the average down. Still needs to get better.

I went last night. First game for me since Beard Eaves. and really haven't watched them at all on TV much either

thoughts

Pettiford- plays out of control sometimes. will dribble the air out of the ball if you let him

Hall-has a decent overall game but thinks too much of his ball handling ability

need to work on the inlet passes. they flash open but guards are reluctant to pass. be more creative in that aspect.

Will his shooting come around?

Is this sort of a sophomore slump adjusting to bigger expectations?

Any defensive dogs on this team?

I was impressed with Oporum last night. He looks like a praying mantis and gets pushed around in there because of it but you can’t deny the kid’s effort. He has improved leaps and bounds even in just 3 games. We’re going to need him as a rim protector since we don’t have much size.

I’m excited about Freeman. He is just now starting to see his own potential. He and Hall on the floor are going to be tough to stop.

Gonna be a fun one on Sunday. You know Kelvin Sampson wants to show the rookie coach how it’s done. Some of our young bucks are about to get see how it feels to really get punched in the mouth for the first time.
