There’s not any locker room issues with this team. KD has a big personality, but there’s been zero reports of him being unhappy.

Hopefully it is nothing. There is a lot of talent on that team and only so many minutes to go around.

We are deep and talented.
The majority of the guys on the bench could start for other SEC programs.
They have to accept their roles for the good of a championship.
They will have their moments (like this one) but it’s not serious. The only reason we know about these things is because of social media.

Yeah he screwed up. Pearl yelled at him. KD was trying to explain what happened to him. Pearl wasn’t listening and pulled KD. KD wasn’t happy about it and is very emotional (don’t know if you’ve noticed). Pearl later went and talked to him on the bench.
How you somehow parlay that into locker room issues, I have no idea. That’s a pretty normal occurrence on basketball teams.

I would rather see a player disappointed in a bad performance over seeing a Smoke yucking it up after being ejected for targeting.

KD is very intense and emotional on the court and it translates to his game. He plays at high level of effort and intensity.
He had a rough game and I’m sure he was frustrated. But watching KD play I expect he will have a big game Saturday and make some big plays.
I coached high school basketball for a long time and I would rather have a player I needed to dial the intensity back a little than one who needed to give more effort.
What I suspect is happening to the team right now is they are desperately trying to test negative for Covid and they are getting picked off one and two at a time. Probably happy to get Flanagan back then boom he gets sick. Same for Cambridge.
I expect someone to be missing Saturday.
