7 wins.

8 if the dominos fall favorably.

9 if miracles happen.

I think we will get a few good players from the portal and maybe a couple of highly rated JUCO players to beef up the roster. I think we either go 7-5 or 8-4. Either is an improvement over the last two seasons.

Posibarner here. We should start 3-0, Cal was awful this past year. I think ATM is currently a mess and we play well out there. Hopefully a sneak road win and the heat really turns up on Jimbo.

Ole Miss, I’m thinking Hugh has this game already circled for revenge. Moo St, the unfortunate passing of Coach Leach, totally new offense.

Arkansas is a toss up. Coming back from playing a boring Vandy game, complacency, then a few days later hitting the road to Fayetteville, I could see us losing that one.

I’m at 8-4, 9-3 and cautiously optimistic.

Sept. 2 - UMASS -win
Sept. 9 - at California -win
Sept. 16 - SAMFORD -win
Sept. 23 - at Texas A&M -win
Sept. 30 - GEORGIA -lose
Oct. 14 - at LSU -lose
Oct. 21 - OLE MISS - win
Oct. 28 - MISSISSIPPI STATE -win
Nov. 4 - at Vanderbilt -win
Nov. 11 - at Arkansas -win/lose
Nov. 18 - NEW MEXICO STATE -win
Nov. 25 - ALABAMA -lose

This is how its done people. New coach. A coach that a ton of us wanted, some of our competition has bigger issues than us-------> Moar wins

9-3 should be doable.

Unless Ashford is our QB and then we are totally fricked. 4-8

Don’t watch Freeze’s presser. You might nuclear melt when he didn’t even mention getting a QB in the portal.

If Freeze can develop Malik, he can develop Ashford right?

Right??

Upgrade the talent and play calling around him, and he’ll be just fine. Can he be a championship level QB? I don’t know.

Been some time but I'm gonna revise my thing real quick

Best case

UMass - Blowout
Cal - Blowout
Samford - Blowout
A&M - Slight W
thUGA - Ranked this game, L
LSU - L
Ole Miss - Slight W
Miss State - W
Vandy - W
Arky - Slight W
NMSU - Blowout
Bama - TBD, too many variables, JHS Magic and new coordinator hires for Bama

So yeah floor to me is 6-6, ceiling is 9-3/10-2. I think we drop one we're expected to win and we win one we weren't supposed to win. There's been good momentum so I'm pushing my prediction up a lil' bit and if we see good results from the spring game I'm feeling good about this upcoming season

I’ll feel good if I don’t see the QBs having to run for their lives as soon as the ball is snapped

I think we win at least 6 games, likely 7. At least we have hope for the future. I am excited to see how our team plays this fall.

Do I think we will be competitive? Yes

Expectations are 5-7, 6-6.

If we snag a good QB this spring, I think our ceiling jumps up to 7-8 wins.

I am looking to 2024 improving more significantly and 2025 we should be able to get a much better outlook and I mean our expectations being much higher then this season and next.

I say 2025 because we were in a huge deficit on roster when Hugh came in. The way he’s working he can exceed our expectations and meet some. He wants both in by more than to be a force asap.

5-7, 6-6, 7-5, 8-4 seem more likely to me. Depends on how we do earlier in the season. If we beat Texas A&M our season is gonna be good

If we hear good stuff from practice and see good results from A-Day that is a good sign aswell

Also, if we somehow land Vandergriff I will feel alot better about our QB room
