They're going to try to kill us with slant passes, which we are terrible at defending. It's easy passes for Jalen also.

We have defended them better the last 3 weeks. To be fair, uga threw 1. But we did ok against A&M and ULM.

We will probably give them some of those slants. Last week they hit Ridley for a long TD on a Slant and Go.

That was also true of Mark Barron in 2010.

As much as our run game is our bread-and-butter, I think the key to this game is gonna be pass protection.

Stidham isn't as bad as he was earlier this year, but he still has a tendency to get happy feet under pressure. If our line can keep Stidham clean for the most part, I think we win.

I don't think we need the deep ball as much....I feel like their DB's are good enough to make one of our 'deep ball connections' an INT, like the TD to Slayton last week....

I'm not worried as much about Hurts scrambling for a ton of yards...I'm more worried about his scrambling resulting in some 1 on 1's with our DB's and their WR's....

But...I am well aware that I don't really know shite.

13-2. Ship.

Disagree. The deep ball is key to beating a Nick Saban defense. When his defense can jump short routes and LB's can stay up in run support, you are doomed. You have to be able to hit or at least try some good deep routes to spread them back out.

I hear ya. I dont disagree, i just hope we dont necessarily HAVE to hit one to win. We have already established that they have to respect it.....but by all means if they want us to beat them with it, lets do it.

As i said, i dont know shite.

From the Saban presser, it sounds like they may be getting 3 LBs back for the Iron Bowl.

they will have all hands on deck

as should we as well

now, whether those LBs are even close to 100% is another question entirely

I’ll be interested to see who both teams play at LB.

I agree with others here, I think we’ll get ours on the ground no matter what. Pass protection will be key, and minimizing 3rd and long situations.

Edit: from the presser, Saban is doing something I’ve never really seen him do: he’s muddying the waters on if some or all the injured linebackers will be back or not. He scared.

Saban has already ruined so many players having them play hurt. What are three more?

So Arkansas fans seem convinced that getting Gus is only a matter of if they want him

They have believed that since Gus went to AU.

They are delusional. They will say the only reason Gus is at Auburn next year is because they didn't give him an offer to Arky.
