Well, if looking at the positives, he and LT are fantastic recruiters. Maybe they can continue bringing talent in, an we all know Steele isn't going anywhere. So stability and recruiting, two of our biggest issues are taking care of.

This is indeed a positive. Keeping LT was my main concern through this whole process.

@ClowESPN Barring a late snag, it looks like LSU defensive coordinator Kevin Steele is headed to Auburn for the same position.

So much for all the insiders info.

Damn thats funny

This kind of confirms there aren't insiders. All those websites were way off.

I always laugh at the guys "in the know". Like I have stated 100 times. 99% of the time, not a single person here knows jack shite till it hits the tube.

Its entertaining though.

When's our next basketball game?

Do you really want to go there? We have lost to MTSU, Harvard, and Hawaii this year. Basketball is even worse than football somehow.

LSU is looking real smooth right now and Auburn looks like the blind kid from Dumb and Dumber that bought a dead bird.

Can someone put Jay Jacobs face on this

First, paysites can't predict who is going to reject Auburn.

Paysites clearly get info like "This guy interviewed" or "We have talked about this guy"

JGT commented that Gus is one of the most private coaches he has covered. Doubtful that anyone but Gus maybe JJ knew/knows who his top choices are

Hawaii is a decent team and we got hosed in that game. We aren't terrible.

You clearly don't know wtf you are talking about since all of those teams are quality

OT loss @ MTSU - RPI #70
Harvard - RPI #107 (Same team that nearly beat Kansas in Allen Fieldhouse)
@Hawaii - RPI #74 Lost by 3points to undefeated Oklahoma

But don't let facts and lack of college basketball knowledge get in your way

That only builds my case to not subscribe...

I'm pretty sure Phillip Marshall has been saying I don't know what the frick is going on but I'm going to throw a name out there and hope it sticks for atleast the past couple weeks.

Have you even watched a game Lanier? We haven't put everything together but we have the makings of a good team.

Then you don't know shite about basketball. Are we great? No. But we aren't terrible. This is an average team that could be solid if healthy. Against Hawaii we were down TJ Dunans, TSD & Purifoy. Then with 9 to go Hawaii gets 12-2 foul calls resulting in Tyler Harris & Horace Spencer fouling out & Canty having to sit for most of time with 4 fouls. We had a freaking walkon PG on the floor & Devon Wadell down low, so ya we lost

At full strength this is a team that can finish .500 in SEC play. We have lead all but one game (Xavier who is one of the best in the nation) we just struggle at finishing which is what separates average from good & good to great

I have no idea how any of this has to do with us hiring Kevin Steele

yes I have. We are better than we were before Bruce but at this point, we are still a bad team.

You are confusing better and good. We are not good. Bottom 3 or 4 in the SEC which is bad enough

Don't let you emotions get the better of you. I have hopes for Pearl. I really like him but at this point, we are still bad
