Have you seen his passing today? He is not an SEC QB. But once again… this whole disaster is not on him he’s trying…

Can we at least fire one of the Boise spuds if we have to keep Harsin

Ashford is a good athlete, but he's not a good QB. He's just not good at passing or reading a defense. He should be a WR or DB.. but he's still probably the best option right now.

I think Robby can be good, but needs great talent around him, particularly OL. Well and we all know how that is going

I get it. But after fumbling 6 damn times in 2 games, he should be protecting the ball

His release is not natural for football. His baseball training is what he is

You think players screaming at each other builds a team? Talk to them on the sideline without screaming.

He’s draft eligible. He just isn’t good.

He’s talking to the worst fricking offensive line in the country, those guys are steaming piles of dogshit and have been a big reason Tank Bigsby’s career at Auburn has been wasted.

Agree. I get the reasons why you don’t typically, but everyone’s mailed it in. If we are gonna lose every game here out, at least give the program hope going forward.

frick Harsin.

It's like not recruiting OL for five years has drawbacks

Well, he is playing behind the worst OL in the SEC. He is red shirt freshman, with zero college snaps under his belt before this season.

I can remember a certain 1st round draft pick, that looked pretty bad up until his senior season on the Plains. Remind me, how many years did Jason Campbell end up playing at the the next level.

He's raw. That's a given.

His ceiling is high with proper coaching, but there's the rub.

I dont think so. He is not a guy who learns from his mistakes. You can not be told everything in life. You have to learn from your own mistakes
He is not a D1 quarterback. He especially is not a SEC QB

He's young with zero playing time who started the spring at 3rd string.
His skill set is very different from most QBs and the offense has to be built around it. Read option takes months and probably a thousand reps to get good at so that the RB and QB both know what they're doing.
This isn't like a sophomore or junior with 3 years in the system getting called in and looking like shite.

Another thing about Ashford, the new coaching staff will probably try to get the most out of Ashford but they’ll bring in someone to start.
