I haven't seen this mentioned before.

Not only did Chris Davis return the kick for the game winning touchdown, he also was the player that knocked Yeldon out of bounds with 1 second left on the clock that set up the field goal attempt.

Love ya AUSB.

What are the odds that the same player would be personally responsible for the 2 most critical plays at the end of that game? It was like fate was allowing him to set up his run to greatness if I can get a little over the top.

Oh, and thanks for the downvote. You are super cool.

He also gave up our last touchdown against FSU.

It is something to think about how large a role Davis played in our season this year with just a handful of plays.

That said, I will never watch that game again.

Trying to get out of my lingering funk by watching 2013 highlights.

Pretty typical actually when you think how many plays he was on the field for.

If we go 15-0 and buttfrick FSU in the championship game, then maybe I'll rewatch it.

When ESPN starts mentioning that FSU won it, I will mute or change the channel. I did this just last week. Just thinking about it now............frick!

Still cringe when I see it on the DVR. I will delete it at some point.

I just added a downvote to my OP to keep the Auburn Sports Board happy.

I get what you are saying , but I am willing to bet that there will never be another single player that determines the outcome of the Alabama game and the National Championship game in the same season effectively by himself with just 2 plays.

Indeed, but what gets overlooked (not on that play) is how teams killed us over the top due to our safeties being late or out of position. I know it's not likely to happen, but I really wish someone would show out and take Whitehead's spot

Well I'll be honest I could probably benefit it from it because it was blurry the first time through

I watched it....till we scored our 3rd TD, then I turned it off.

But was he the single determining factor in even those plays? No he just happened to be the one with or closest to the ball
