Don't forget about my fellow Hoover Buccaneer, Robby Ashford. He's in this race too

He’s our wild card. I like the upside he brings. People here compared his spring game to Bo Nix so go ahead and fade your expectations.

Just experience. Jimbo is a pretty good qb Coach and he probably helped calzada w reads progressions etc.

Plus Alford has had little experience and I think zero field battles like Calzada had last year.

I like what I saw from Ashford, he looked good in teh spring game and made some good reads. His bonus is the ability he has to take off with his legs.

Calazada is an upgrade and I think he will get better and most likely start next year.

Grenier is the future will most likely be redshirted.

I see Finley transfering as a grad transfer or going down a division to play in the fall.

I watched the ufl last night for the first time. Shae Patterson was qb for one of the teams. Bo is a Patterson clone. He would scramble out of decent pockets and try to make hero throws. They both had a ton of hype and just can’t seem to shake the high school gunslinger mentality.

Told y’all Bo would be the starter so that’s 3 head coaches, 4 OCs that have made him a starter for their team.

And again he will absolutely rape the PAC-12 this season.

Outside of being an absolute pathetic recruiter that is Harsin’s next biggest fumble letting Bo get away.

Nah, not embracing the NIL was much bigger than keeping Bo around as a hot backup.

What options did Gus or Harsin have over Bo. Bo left cause he got his feeling hurt being benched cause he almost lost to GA freaking state. Bo also wasn't going anywhere he wouldn't be guaranteed to start and no its only 3 OCs as Dilly is at OU. Bo has not lived up to his 5 star rating and will be a little above average in Pac12. You can bet on that, just wait to week 1 and you will see nothing has changed with him.

Many hasn’t. He won’t be the last one. See Pappoe. Tre Williams, etc. Why you’re butthurt about Auburn fan Bo only being above average, but not elite makes me wonder how demented you really are.

The poures of tears and gnashing of teeth because he dumped your whiny arse and left you with the A&M backup plan.

Cameron Rising has chunks of QB's like Bo Nix in his stool. Oregon's QB was trash last year so it will definitely be an upgrade.

This is a decent ranking in the article below, but I'd put Rising and Robinson at #1 and #2. Rising is in a run-first offense but has a 147 QBR, 20 TD/5 INT. Williams, de Laura, and Nix should be at #3/#4/#5. If Nix could improve his accuracy and QBR he'd move up a couple of spots. Hopefully Dillingham runs Nix a bunch because outside of Utah and Oregon the PAC-12 DL's are not as talented and not deep. He could rush for 1000 yards if they'd let him do it.

Yeah he left Auburn just as easy as you jump teams,

You act like Bo was winning the Heisman last year, when he was just average and everyone wanted him benched (even you). He was 86th in Passing Efficiency. Bo was average and nothing that could not be replaced.

Malik Willis?

Bo was better than Malik especially 3 years ago, Malik was overrated but you cant let that go either.

that backup outdueled Bo in head to head last year.

He led his team to 0 offensive TDs with the mighty 12th man behind him. Print the t shirts!

“Calzada struggled delivering accurate passes consistently. Though one could come to that conclusion looking at his dismissible Completion% that finished seven percentage points below the next closest SECer who started at least ten games, his 55.5% raw Accuracy% finished inside the conference’s bottom4. On a per throw basis, even Vanderbilt’s scattershot Ken Seals turned in a preferable figure.

First and foremost, that’s an undeniable red flag. Passers have to be dependable down-to-down throwers. Captain Obvious wanted me to relay that to you in case you weren’t already aware. Though Completion% can be skewed by drops, Accuracy% is more reflective of a QB’s true precision. And after one year of extended snaps, this characteristic is worrisome. Accentuating this flaw, Calzada finished inside the SEC’s bottom5 in Uncatchable Pass Rate. By volume, his 73 were the SEC’s 3rd-most; that’s an awfully lot of wasted opportunities.”

Nobody with any fully functioning brain cells left could ever conclude that about me. Bless your heart.

Same as Bo but Calzada didnt have an INT or a game clinching fumble returned for a TD that Bo had.

As a matter of fact Bo had 0 TD also against PSU, UGA, GA ST. So in 40% of the games this all-world QB played in he didnt score a TD. Im glad Bo and his drama is gone, Calzada might be better (I think Ashford and Grenier have the most upside).

You have been crying about Bo leaving all spring, but come fall Im sure you will find another team to cheer for and something else to cry about.

So basically it was his own mediocrity that kept the game close. Boring!

Our offense has struggled for roughly 6 years and this surprises you? Bo literally graded better than the whole team against Georgia. It’s not his fault his receiver’s stone hands turned completions into interceptions.

Calzada didn’t have a TD in 3 games as well…against the defensive juggernauts of Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Auburn lol.

And he only had 3 turnover-free ball games all season. What a downgrade.
