God please stop with this Utah bullshite. They would finish last or next to last in both sides of the conference in the SEC. I like Utah and they have a fine coach but to try to compare them or Oregon with SEC DL’s are beyond dumb.

Here's how Utah (and Oregon) is stack ranked against the upper half of the SEC with # of players, and # of OL/DL in the NFL. This seems like a pretty objective measure and I wouldn't really know what else to use in its place. OL/DL are in parenthesis.:

Alabama - 70 (24)
LSU - 70 (23)
UGA - 57 (17)
UF - 43 (14)
AU - 35 (10)
Oregon - 35 (10)
UTAH - 34 (12)
UT - 31 (9)
UK - 26 (9)
Arky - 24 (10)

By observation of these lists, Utah is comparatively more made up (% wise) of OL/DL with some RB's and TE's as well. The others above are more evenly made-up of OL/DL/skill athletes. The only thing I've ever said was that Utah has lines that could measure up well with the SEC and finish middle of the pack (7-5, 6-6 on average). The reason for the "middle of the pack" finish is that the further Utah gets from the LOS, the more glaring the deficiencies with depth, speed and overall skill.
