Right. It was very Bo like but that was their top performer. Bo probably will do bad against Georgia but don’t forget he led our team in PFF against Georgia last year with their umpteen high draft picks. People act like he was the problem when he wasn’t.

Against backups with no pass rush. Once he saw a little rush he got scared from the highlights. Bo will be average in the pac12.

Usually listing attempts without the completions is a red flag

Bo never met a pocket he couldn't exit prematurely. I think most people wish him success but I'm guessing we'll see a 60%-ish passing percentage this year, just like every year with him. Whether that's better than what we have is dictated on CALZONE taking the next step. He was Bo Nix last year with lesser wheels, but Jimbo never asks his QB's to run.

8 for 15 for 230 yards and -29 yards rushing, 4 sacks and a long of 70 yards.

53% passing, we have seen that before. I dont think he will be missed as much as some think. I liked Bo and wish him the best but some people act like lost a Heisman QB. There is a reason the only person that came calling was Dilly Dilly.

He's a good QB and someone you can win with if his teammates don't hate him like at Auburn. I think its beyond speculation that that was the case. I think its been reported on from many different sources. I take the SLC Trib so we get Pac-12 reports on the competitive football programs in the conference. I don't take or read the Orgonian. All seems fine with Nix but that was also the case at AU. He always seemed to have an advocation group around him, which works well at Oregon. Oregon is all hat and no cattle. They seem to do less with more than any team in the country. Perfect fit.

1 You have no clue who came a calling

2. You act like every team in America needed a QB.

3. The guy that we replaced Bo with is literally no better.

As for Bo’s stats, he did better than the rest of the QBs on their roster. That’s a motif throughout his career.

This time you forgot to mention those 3 TDs.

Well I do know that USC, PITT, Ole Miss, Texas, S Car, WSU, OU Tx A&M, WVU, Nevada, GUS, KState and LSU all got transfer QBs not named Bo Nix so they didnt come calling.

I have seen Calzada ranked higher than Bo, Bo was average and not good against good D. Dude needed TJ Finley to bail him out against Alabama State.

Just putting in what you forgot. Yes he got 3 TDs against the back ups.

Bo was a decent QB, but not a 5 star and not one that couldn't be replaced.

Oklahoma and USC opened up after Bo committed to Oregon. And probably more on this list. WTF?

Yeah by Auburn rantaards. Everything Bo did Calzada literally did worse.

Calzada needed Harsin to bail him out of being second string.

Well then why did we suck at replacing him?

Lots of CALZONE insults thrown in there. What did he do to you? I have no idea how he'll do but he was basically Bo Nix last year. His QBR was a tiny bit higher if we're splitting hairs. Plus his teammates didn't hate him. Apparently he'll participate in DL drills.

I honestly don't think where Nix ended up is going to impact his 60% completion percentage. You could put him on the Pittsburg Steelers and he'd bail to the right and and have a 57% completion with awful reads and picks. Plus not complete deep balls.

Not according to ESPN. Where are you getting this? He had like a 57 and Nx had a 70.

Bo and those three picks were awful I tell you.

What did Bo do to you? And saying Bo was hated by teammates I can assure you that is 100000% false.

Bo will be fine and making more money then all of us. So let him be.

Our season depends on Calzada I won’t trash him at all because I e only see. 2 games from him but he’s clearly the best QB on our team for next season. Will it work out I have no idea.

Well you're saying its 1000000% false has convinced me. We can move on. Also his head coach and OC didn't hate Bo or Patrick either.

You can look at what's drawn out in plain English by behavior, or you can engage in whatever you're doing. Bo isn't here for a reason.

Wrong post

I’m not hating on the kid but we don’t normally downgrade if we don’t have to.

Downgrade? Aside from the performance, consider the Dad and sappy IG fiancee.

I love Auburn. Attended AHS, AU, still have a residence here. But maybe, just maybe you can hold on a little too tight. Plus your Dad may have not coached you to not prematurely bail right if a shadow of a cleat enters your periphery vision.

I wish Bo well, and I wish things had worked out differently.

Calzada missed spring due to injury.
Geriner is a true freshman.

TJ seems very likable, and I wish it could have worked out, but I don’t see him winning the job.

I guess it’s Calzada’s job to lose IF he gets healthy.

Is that sort of where things stand at QB?

Don't forget about my fellow Hoover Buccaneer, Robby Ashford. He's in this race too

So Calzada/Ashford, Finley, and Geriner

Would Geriner be emergency only?

Do you think TJ leaves before season IF he’s not going to start?

He could but since the May 1st deadline came and went he would sit out this coming season should he transfer. My guess is he would hang on through the season possibly.

I’m hoping for an improved Calzada to lead us.

Ashford has the arm and athleticism but I see him making to many mistakes in this structured offense of Harsins.

I just see calzada making better pocket decisions and Alford forcing it too much.

And to have a chance on offense we are going to have to make few mistakes
