I don’t know…..1972 defense was a monster.

According the Shug, 1958 the best. Didn’t need coaching …just tell them when to catch the bus, train

Defense best in 100 years - Check

Secondary is our best unit - Check

Passing game will be our strength - check.

I agree, defense looked terrible at times tonight. One of the worst things was the tackling,….lost count of the number of missed tackles….

Although I will say for the record that I wish I could have met Mike Donohue.

To have two seasons back to back with no losses is impressive in any era.
