The key to this entire season is the offensive line in my opinion.
.......and QB play.
Our OL has looked like hot garbage the last several years.
Our QB has shown no patience in the pocket. He has yet proven that he can carry a team. His decision making has been awful at times. His mechanics need to be greatly improved.
I am as big a homer as you will find and I find it extremely difficult to pump sunshine right now.

This is a head-scratcher for me. He's never been good, but the SEC coaches voted him 2nd team all-SEC, so what do I know. I still believe my lying eyes though.

What QB would show good patience in the pocket with consistently garbage OL play other than Andrew Luck (and look where that got him)
If our OL is improved, I promise you’ll see an improved Bo. Even just being able to trust the OL helps on every down

Thought it was pretty fair, myself. Out OL isn’t good. There isn’t one guy save for Brahms that would make the 2-deep at anyone of there 4+ teams ahead of us. It is what it is. If we can just see a disciplined team we can win 7 games but we don’t have the horses to win 9 I don’t think. Defense will keep us in it but who knows how Harris and Fair will be against top line SEC OL talent and schemes.

If our play call matches our O-line ability to pass block, that'd be nice.

The issue with that is we going to have to throw the ball some to keep defenses remotely honest and if you move the pocket or call roll outs then you have to factor in that Bo’s accuracy gets even worse outside the pocket.

At least we get a few weeks to let him get comfortable in the pocket.

Every year under Gus there was "that" game when you realized that absolutely nothing had changed from the year before. Usually the sign was a totally lost quarterback, running for his life and throwing absolute garbage.
My expectations are low and all the changes in CFB over the summer have really dented my enthusiasm for the sport. I am hoping that the team can suprise us a few games.
