I've read across several boards that the PTB have told Gus no to Freeze. No idea if it's true.

Seems like Kodi might just take the role of Rhett Lashlee.

Turner Gill just retired at Liberty.... wouldn’t be shocked if Freeze ended up there as HC... seems like an almost perfect fit.

Gus has plenty of stupid moments, but he's not this stupid.

You think he'd let Kodi call plays

Gus wants to get back to running the offense imo. He can do that with a Rhett/Kodi type.

ETA: should add that im not trying to sell that idea, but it looks like it's happening that way. Chip was fine and likely would've done very well with full control.

It’s not really a jab... it is what it is.

Freeze made a public appearance there after getting run off at Ole Miss... their AD was at Baylor, so they obviously don’t GAF about public perception.... and Freeze has been stressing the whole redemption narrative.

It would be much better taking an OC job at a major University than taking a no-win HC gig.

We have the weirdest program. How many of our coordinators now have not been officially fired? I can think of 3 off the top of my head.

Will be interesting to see what he does at his next stop. My guess is he kills it!

This is my bet. We will see him go and flourish somewhere else while Gus stares down another season losing to all of our traditional rivals.

Hell yeah. Mcgee or thUGA's Oline coach. We know they won't be calling plays, so might as well get a kick arse recruiter.
