Haven't listened yet, but good for visibility.

Honestly what if Carnell is better than the other candidates and it took the interim chance for him to show it?

I'll give it a listen. Will he be doing Tiger Talk tomorrow night? I've never listened but might want to tune into Caddy

Yeah I'm changing my tune until proven otherwise, with the way he just spoke there, my new #1.

Caddy is Auburn through and through! His interview was AUsome and humbling.

I wish he had a lot of track record with HC, because I would run through a brick wall for him! I hope he’s retained as a supporting staff!

He loves Auburn just as much as us fans!

Go Crazy Cadillac, Go Crazy!!!

I, 100% honestly, would be fine if we gave Caddy a chance and threw a ton of support behind him in terms of getting the assistants he needs.

There aren’t any “can’t miss” coaches that can come into the sec. I am ok as long as the team plays hard for him. Harsin’s problem was that the team never seemed behind him.

Cadillac is one of my top 5 all time Auburn Tigers and I love this opportunity for him (can’t think of a better interim HC choice) but he’s not ready for a P5 job.

This.

Either retain him maybe with new staff or tell him to go get HC practice and come back to us

Deion Sanders has about as much experience as Caddy does coaching but his name is floating up towards the top of a lot of lists.

Deion has been a head coach. He's more qualified.

Sanders has NEVER coached at a P5 school. Sanders has never been an assistant in the SEC. The last HC Sanders coached under, was at a freaking high school. Sanders coaching experience is almost zero.

Let's this sink in, the next time Sanders prepares a team to play in front of 80K+ spectators, against teams with multiple future NFL players, will be the first time.

I listened to the interview. At this point I am sure of two things. 1) Carnell truly loves Auburn. 2) He has done a good job with the running backs. With the right people to support him, he has the potential to make the end of our season better than it has been thus far.

If we somehow pull off State, The Weirdos in College Station, and WKU, we'll be bowling.

Probably in Bham again. But still, bowling.

My point is simple.

Deion has run a program. Carnell has not yet had that experience.

It's not difficult

I’m not arguing for Cadillac but let’s be honest Hoover and Thompson have as big a program as Deion has run.
