Hell, Arky beat Fickell earlier this season. Still would prefer him to anyone else we’ve considered, including Kiff.
If we end up passing up a chance to hire Fickell for Freezus, we deserve every shitty loss to bad teams we will inevitably get, and the PR nightmare we’ll undoubtedly suffer through the next time Freezus does something mind-numbingly stupid.

Has anyone pointed out that freeze was 39-25 at ole miss? Not particularly a great record. That was at a big boy school with real competition. Im guessing his record speaks volumes about his stellar coaching ability in the sec.

You are clearly ignoring that none of this has anything to do with Kiffin not beating the good teams.
I know why his fans block it out but I assure you Auburn fans don't want to spend the next 3 or 4 years only beating the bad teams we play.
All of his wins were against teams that have a losing record combined and only Troy and Kentucky have winning records.

I love differing opinions but good gracious let it go. Either he will be hired or he won’t. Same with Freeze or any other coach we may hire.
Regardless of who the next head coach is we need to get behind them. I wouldn’t love. Rhule or Fickell hire personally but I would support because the “Family” needs it now. We’ve asked for years for the university, the AD, the PTB, and the coach to get on the same page it appears that might be possible at this time. But we are gonna have some dipshit fans that pooh pooh whoever is selected.
