I mean...He should definitely be on the list. We got Prime, Grimes, and Freezus on the list but BoB is off limits? Lulz.

A lot of them are blaming BOB for the close game last night. Whole lot of people watch football, but understand very little about it.

Attalla is right in that he does have NFL experience but I’m still not excited about the hire. His offense was boring. He had terrible relationships with his star players, even his Penn State revivals werent that magnificent. He gets zero credit for Bryce Young’s Heisman. Bryce got a Heisman because another recruiter recruited him to the team with the best WR and OL talent in football.

Like Auburns BOT, sans Riggins. He should be the one leading the charge

They hate their OC every year.

They're top 5ish in the nation in scoring offense and total offense.

They tend to turn on their DCs too if they give up any points

Not saying he's my top choice that would be Kiffin. But i'd definitely give him a look if things go south quickly with everyone else.

They probably hate BOB the same way they hate 33ppg Nussmeier. AKA a lot more than Kiffin and Sarkisian.

Sounds like Matt Rhule will be fired tomorrow, FWIW.

That's a hire I could get behind! Damn solid record of turning shitty college situations around in a hurry.

Matt Rhule has lead the Panthers to a horrible season in 2022. He is expected to be fired on Monday, October 10th.

During his tenure at Baylor, Rhule's teams never defeated a ranked team.

He has 5 years of college coaching experience and in that time his overall record is 47-43 combined between Temple and Baylor. I don't know if people would be behind him...
He had one good year at Baylor and a couple at Temple if you call 10-4 & 10-3 good years. Yeah they beat Tubbs those years but lost to decent teams.

His record against top 25 teams is fantastic.

Not.

The year before he took over Temple: 4-7
His stint at Temple:
2-10
6-6
10-4
10-3

Impressive.

Baylor the year before: 7-6 (rape scandal)
His stint:
1-11
7-6
11-3

Impressive.

Looks like he elevated Baylor’s recruiting a little but not dramatically.

I approve

I just read he’s 0-11 against ranked teams.

How accurate is that?

He coached at fricking Baylor and Temple…

In year 2 and 3 at Baylor (only period I’m interested in his record vs top 25) vs ranked teams:
At #6 Oklahoma 33-66
At #9 Texas 17-23
At #13 WV 14-58
At #23 Iowa State 14-28

Vs #10 Oklahoma 31-34
Vs #6 Oklahoma 23-30 OT
Vs #5 UGA 14-26

I don’t hate that. He’s at Baylor so working with less talent than most of those teams. In his third year he was pretty damn competitive with those teams anyways.
