He has played like crap the last several years. I saw a picture of him from the game where he was standing well outside the huddle when the team was huddling around the coach - is it just me or does Bo try to present himself well in public but is privately a terrible person? I don’t have any inside info on this - just seems like it from reading the tea leaves

That is a lot to imply about a young man without anything to back it up.

Does he struggle as our qb? Yes

Is there a better option? Hopefully the coaches know and can make the right call either way.

Bo isn't going to lose this job for lack of reasonable effort. I just don't think he's innately a good enough leader or QB to hold off a better-than-average competitor.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure Finley is that guy, but I hope he is.

you speak like someone who doesnt understand human behavior.

Bo just got benched for the first time in his career and you want him to be rah rah in the huddle? Get real.

Being benched is a traumatic experience. Had to be surreal for him to watch Finley lead the team to the win.

Terrible person? Cmon man. What are the criteria? Killing, stealing drugs...?

Nope. Standing outside the huddle after being benched.

I think looking at lots of the film with the guys at thewarapport that it's not just all Bo. There were routes that were obviously run wrong and thrown right that if they were run correctly they would've made at least a connection on placement. Sure he tends to mess up under pressure, but it's not all Bo's fault.

People read too much into things like that

Plus if he’s benched and Finley is trying to step up as a leader, would it help for Bo to be out there trying to do the same thing? No

I have it on good authority that Bo reads these posts, and I’m worried that now he is going to be standing further outside the huddle for the remainder of the season.

I hope Bo tries slot WR. He might have a future there. He’s athletic

Bo will play QB somewhere, just probably not here.

He could make an ok bridge QB at somewhere like South Carolina or Vandy or Duke. He could also go play somewhere like USF, Houston, East Carolina, UCF (lol)

Bo is not a bad Qb. Compare his stats to Brandon Cox and get back to me

If Bo's shoulder is sound, he will start against LSU.

Brandon Cox has 1/10th of Nixs talent and still has a better QB rating

Will never get drafted as a QB. He could as a WR, if he has hands.

I’ll compare as Cox didn’t have any of Bo’s physical tools, but he was one tough sob. Cox would stand and deliver. He was not afraid to stand strong in the pocket.

Nix has 1/10th of Cox's accuracy and pocket presence.

probably true on the pocket presence, but only bc Cox was not going to scramble and make something happen. He was not anywhere near as athletic as Bo.

Cox was not more accurate than Bo.
Both of them have about a 60% completion percentage.

Cox was pretty good within 25 yards, but didn't have the arm strength to be accurate down field.

Bo is more athletic and has a stronger passing arm, but is inaccurate bc of his footwork, and how he releases the ball at times. He is also not accurate down the field.

But

Accuracy issues aside, his biggest issue is being able to read a defense/see the field. It is absurd how bad it is. Like Trent Richardson trying to read a hole bad. He missed so many available options on Saturday and would throw into double coverage when guys were wide open elsewhere. There is only so much coaching can do. When a guy just won’t find the open man, can’t do much with it.

I don’t think there is a harder worker on our team, but Bo is just missing something when it comes to playing QB. The physical tools are there.
